Installing was easy. Replaced three that broke. They do at times stick in the open position and then the door seems closed but isn't. Car door open light and a seat belt saved the day when this first happened! Might very well be user error.

Car door opens from outside again

The product seems very well made and attractive. A quick youtube video will make this a very quick and simple job to swap out the broken for the replacement. Warning: the small piece that would house the key lock if it were for a front door is different in it's design than my original and is not compatible. Luckily my original is not completely broken, just cracked half the way across, and I hope to continue to use that piece, at least unti it completely fails and falls off...at which point I will like curse with much more enthusiasm. Note in the photo that the top is the new and the bottom is the original. The new piece incorporates an angled nut/post that a bolt holds the plastic piece attached to the door. My original incorporates a straight ridged female socket of which the matching male component simple fits into, relying on only the plastic clip extensions to hold it in place, of which mine are all broken off, so good luck to me on that. Beyond that, and I'd give this a full 5 stars.

My door handle broke on my 04 Vibe. I found this to replace it. It went in perfectly. It will work for both the drivers and passenger side, so I would go with the one with the keyhole if I had to buy it again. This says it is for the front for my car when it is really for the back.

Came quickly, price was great, was able to install normally and easily. Had a sticky action after installing (handle wouldn't snap back in place). After quite a bit of time spent, I figured out the place where it wasn't tracking just right, and the plastic needed to be trimmed just a bit. Now everything's fine. I'm NOT sure that this was the fault of this replacement handle or something in my particular door, just this was my experience.

I have not installed it yet.Less than half the price I paid for the other one that lasted 2 weeks.Now that 5 stars if it fits and im sure it will.

It doesn't fit in a 2009 toyota rav4 passenger side door. The bolt doesn't line up.
