This motherboard is great, if you're looking for a great "future proof" motherboard look no further. I have nothing but praise for this board. The only thing that could possibly be better is the capacitors could be a bit farther from the CPU slot. I used the Corsair H100i and it was a tight squeeze.I would buy this board again in a heartbeat.FYI, this board is fully compatible with OSX with the exception of the included wifi card. Althought, the bluetooth works with a few minor tweaks to the drivers.Update: The board fan is making a strange and annoying noise, so I'll be putting a replacement order with amazon. This is still an amazing board as long as the new one doesn't have the same problem. I received the new board so far so good.

Granted I have little basis for comparison, but can say that this board was key to building a Hackintosh based on the tonymacx86 site's suggestions.My only complaint is that, when building the Hackintosh, the Thunderbolt ports do not work. According to the site, it would be possible to enable them by also installing Windows on the machine, then using some windows tools to enable. This is a detail that I had not seen in the forum about this board when ordering this it and while initially building the Hackintosh.

Excellent quality board, which I had to get from Amazon, because they are hard to find in my neck of the woods. Robust, and having a secondary independent pci-e 16 controller is a great benefit.Makes a great Mac Pro board for 10.9. The only disappointment is that I couldn't use the BT and Wifi module.One caution- due to positioning of the RAM slots, if you use performance RAM with tall heatsinks, you won't get a Noctua onto the CPU.

This is a solid mother board. Really heavy. I used it to make a hackintosh, 10.9.2 and it's working like a dream.

first of all I'v been using Gigabyte since 10 years I like all products of gigabyte High quality products motherboards, graphic cards and cases, but this product until now I did not use it because im waiting fo buy water cooling device i want try overclocking but is looking amazing its heavy and high quality enable what you need Etc. WIFI, Dual LAN, SLi, 4th Generation Intel, 32 GB memo And the new thing thunderboltthe negative of this device the fans they replaced the pipes with fans

WOW, this board is a fine piece of art! I couldn't be happier with the looks and functionality of this motherboard. Gigabyte outdid themselves with this one. I will have years of over licking fun. If my last gigabyte board, which ran for 6 years straight is any indicator of the quality of this board, then my comfort level versus cost has me feeling great! I just assembled this corsair carbide 500R case and the GA-Z87X-UD7 TH mother board. This case recesses the mb and that blocks half of the sata connectors. Look at the interior picture of the case and you'll see how the mb is recessed. This doesnt leave enough room to connect cables to the first row of sata's.I'm not running yet so I cant say anything more at this point
