12V 26W Dimmable CV DC LED Driver Transformer ETL Approved

I am using this power supply to power a strip of the Hitlights warm white LED's that I also found on Amazon. I wanted a dimmable power supply because I am using the new Lutron Caseta dimmer to power the power supply. The LED's dim down pretty well and the Lutron Caseta dimmer has an adjustable low-end trim so you can avoid drop-out at the low end.I did a trial installation on one side of my kitchen, starting with another "dimmable" supply that did not dim at all. This one cost a little more, but it works flawlessly.I replaced some older flourescent under-cabinet lights with the LED's with this dimmable supply and now the kitchen is warm and inviting. Another advantage of using the Caseta dimmer is that, when paired with the smart bridge, the under cabinets lights come on at dusk and then dim down late at night to act light a night light in the kitchen.

I purchased two of these transformers for LED strip lights for under cabinet lighting. One drives a short strip at about 1.1 amps and the other drives a longer strip at 2.1 amps. This is rated to 2.2 amps. The lights worked great for about two weeks and then the LEDs started burning up on the longer strip. Voltage output is variable. The shorter strip is still going strong. I will now be replacing this transfer with a larger transformer and having to buy new lights.

These are great small LED drivers dimmable with a standard Lutron dimmer rated for LED. I have 3 of them and they replaceda faulty driver instantly no questions. One needs to place the proper wattage rated for the driver (not too much and enough todrive it) and make sure the black/red LED wires and the black/white 110 wires are correct. These are nicely matched with LEDtape lighting for under/over cabs. A revolution in lighting and energy conservation...

This LED driver works great with the LED ribbon lights I bought from LEDWholesalers. It is only 26W so it will not power a whole 5M strip but that was not a factor for my setup. The trade off for it being dimmable with a standard dimmer is well worth it. Fast shipping and great service from eversale when I had some questions with install. They were very responsive and knowledgeable.

Works well, but the efficiency could be improved. Significantly less efficient than a non-dimming power supply, but if the situation requires an AC dimmer instead of a low voltage DC dimmer, then this is the one to use. Works well with my Simply Automated UPB dimmers, which to not work well with many dimmable LEDs on the market.

Dims my LED light strand as expected. Slowly, I started noticing that the lights on the end grew dimmer and dimmer. Eventually, the lights wouldn't turn on at all (took 6 months). So it works great for 6 months and it is dimmable.

Compared to other dimmers, this one is unfortunately very loud (buzzing), and the dimming doesn't go as low as some of the competitive dimmers. In addition the cover plates unnecessary pinch the wires if using a thicker gauge (ex 18g).
