Cover Girls (Kabaa Garuzu) (in Japanese) Boxed Set Hardcover – January 1, 1813

A really great find and a book to behold! It's quite a sizable book. About 13"X10.5" is what I measured. I love the variation of compositions, color schemes and timeless details he executed within this showcased body of work. It's like a manga mash of gravure, sci-fi, fantasy and surrealism. Just to heed a warning for those sensitive to nudity: Mammary glands and suggestive penile objects are somewhat recurrent throughout Terada's work. It's almost gratuitous to say the least, but done with a bit of adult, comical fun which makes up for it. I get the impression that there's sort of a paradox of controlled candid-ness with his ideas; as if he knowingly keeps an open mind; they'll bloom open beautifully and effortlessly. Overall, I'm really ecstatic and grateful to have found this rare book and very proud to own it. If you're enthused of this very 'avant garde' genre of art, I highly recommend it!

This is a collector's addition of some of Terada's best art. Beautiful coffee table book.

Not as much as I thought would be in there, but still cool never the less.

This book is a collection of the cover girls, originally created for Wanai-magazine. The book comes in a box, and has a number of extra items (a cloth banner, a sticker book etc.). Either you like the artwork or you don't I enjoyed it and would recommend it to others, it was a little pricey for this type of thing (I paid about $50 US), but that is what you get with an out of print book.
