This product was purchased in-spite of all the negative reviews for alternative charges for the Surface Pro6. I tried it for the first time recently with my solar powered generator and it performed well. However, I noticed that the charge in the Pro-6 is not as stable as when being charged from an A/C power cord...theoretically it should not make a difference because the A/C converts to D/C when going to the device but, for some unknown reason, the charge doesn't hold as solid. Knowing that just means it has to be recharged sooner but, found it to be worth the effort to purchase and own. Hope this review has helped.

If you use your surface on the go or in the field your going to need a car charger, this one works great and charges it quick. If your needing a charger then give this one a shot!

I do a lot of long distance driving for work and this is perfect. Keeps my Surface Pro3 charged and running so that I dont have to run the regular plug in cord to my inverter in the back of my 4runner. Also, my girlfriend is not a fan of long drives. So when we have to travel somewhere I plug in my Surface Pro3, connect it to my Verizon Wifi hotspot, and like a 5 year old this keeps her entertained for hours lol.

The charger should be able to charge the tablet when insert in either direction. Mine only works one way, with the cord sticking up. When I stand the tablet up, the cord comes out. Not sure if I got a defective charger or this is an ongoing problem.

Works just fine. I tried another type of adapter that was a dud. Pleased to find this one does work with the Surface go.

This product was great but after a month it stopped working. The fuse seems ok I know the plug works because other devices work.

Works as advertised. Charges my Surface pro 6 well from a 12 cold accessory socket in our trailer.

Great product, easy to use and super convenient when work "needs" something and I'm in the car with no outlet. Came with a cute little carrying pouch too!
