George'S Aloe Vera Spray Mister 8 Fz2

I bought this to use on my bird, a white capped Pionus who was suffering to the point of whining, from dry skin due to the dryness of winter. One use on the day it arrived and he is cured. He no longer sits and scratches incessantly, covering my laptop screen with layers of bird dander that I need to remove every 20 or so minutes in order to use the laptop. And I am not exaggerating. I did ask on a bird group what others were using and this was the top recommended product, so naturally I came to Amazon to order it. It was sent upgraded shipping (Priority) for some reason by the seller about the time I was getting anxious for it to arrive. Perhaps they were out of stock? In any case I also sprayed my dry cracked arms as well and they look lots better, my daughter treated her elbows and all of us are much happier. Anything that helps an animal who relies on us to keep them safe and secure is a winner in my book. I am a huge animal lover and I'm so very glad to have found this product. I'm sure I will be using this product for years to come. Its nothing but pure Aloe Vera so there are no harmful side affects at all. If you have a dry itchy pet (or human) I can't recommend this enough. By the way I prepared my bird for using this by telling him that something was coming in the mail for him - and when it does this is what we're going to do, and then I laid him on his back in my hand and made the spritzing sound for him and then rubbing him like I planned to do to with the spray.When it arrived we did it just the way I'd been doing with all the training and he was fine with it. He had no fear of the sound or the spray and loved it. He was more interested in getting in the box to play, he loves to play in boxes. I believer that animals are smart enough that if you talk to them you can help ease their anxieties by preparing them in advance, at least that has been my experience.

Occaisionally my bird will chew her feathers and this last time she refused to let them grow back. My avian vet verified this was a safe product to use (for my bird, at least). I made other changes to help curb the picking from a behavior standpoint, but I really do think this spray helped a lot. It seemed ease her dry, itchy skin. I mist her twice a day and she is now letting her new feathers come in.

I have sensitive, acneic skin. I spray this on my face morning and night, after cleansing, and before applying anything else. I do think it helps to soothe and prep my skin.

The cost went from a great deal to are you kidding me?!
