If you are looking for a powerful plasma globe, this is probably for you. This thing is ridiculously powerful.Sparks jump a millimeter to your hand. If you touch your nose to it, you can smell ozone. If you touch one hand to the globe and another to a grounded surface, prepare for pain. That's not to say it's dangerous (the high frequency probably offers some protection), but boy does it hurt.I haven't really used the "music" function, so I won't comment on that. Also, I'll admit I lost the original power supply and substituted a beefier 12v, 1.5amp, center positive supply, but that shouldn't really effect anything function-wise.Edit: So I was wrong. Although a device should ideally current-limit itself, irrespective of its power supply, this one doesn't. Swapping from the .5amp stock supply to a 1.5amp grounded supply went from 9.1 watts peak to 55 watts! Really beefs it up, but I doubt it would be good for longevity.

Larger than expected. Nice and bright. Fragile, the glass is very thin! Overall I'm very happy with the purchase! Hoping it will last a few years!!

Love this plasma ball it’s mesmerizing! My son keeps insisting that I turn off the lights in his classroom (that’s where it is) so that he can play/look at it. It really is cool how it follows your hand or finger when you touch the exterior. Super fun to watch on its own. It’s plastic so no worries about broken glass. It’s pretty durable it got knocked a couple times by my sons toys and no problem. Really great to put in a kids room as a nightlight! I’m buying another for my son’s room for that reason. Well worth the money.

This was so cool, until it wasn't it started actively shocking us. So we had to unplug it and now its just sitting in the box collecting dust

There is a touch feature (which I am not doing in my classroom right now) and the "on" feature which really captures the attention of my students. I really enjoy having it to help explain the fourth state of matter.It really is a dramatic display.A bright feature in the dark!

Bought the 8 inch YUNNI plasma ball for my younger son to replace his smaller one from another brand that had degraded over the years.Bright beautiful arcs ✅Responsive to touch ✅Responsive to sound ✅I would recommend this product!!!

The globe is fun for the kids to play with and it works good. The one I received was partly broken one of the sections of the switch doesn’t work it flickers and you have to tap it for it to turn on and there is no sound like it’s suppose to have. Luckily it’s just something I got to show my toddler so he doesn’t care it’s only half working.

I bought this plasma ball, it is excellent, the flash level is huge, the response to the sound of music is also good, the size is perfect, value for money, recommend 100%!
