BerfineQuick Release Retro Leather Watch Band,Vintage Pull-up Leather Watch Strap

This strap looks great and as a fashion rather than functional item it’ll please many. I bought it as a change of look for my SKX007 and yes it does ‘look’ great. However for only a few pounds more you can have a Barton Watch Bands strap that looks and feels like a much better made and higher quality strap. I have a Barton strap for my Orient Bambino.Let’s face it, if you’re after a strap for a watch you love (like me) then look elsewhere, this isn’t a confidence inspiring build and as such it defeats the purpose of securing your watch on your wrist.A couple of obvious points to bear in mind: the qr strap pins that secure the strap in the watch lugs are light weight and there is lots of play between them and the strap itself. There’s none with a Barton band, and the band and keepers are 100% leather rather than pleather.Which brings me to point two, the strap keepers here are vinyl – not leather; so while the match of plastic finish to leather band is acceptable when new, the strap will ‘age’ and the keepers won’t. This unfortunately undermines the first point I made about the good looks of this strap.As I said this isn’t an expensive strap and yes, I am super picky, but for around £4 more you can get a far superior strap, albeit one that will take a little ‘breaking-in’ to conform to your wrist. I hope you find this review useful in your search for a quality leather strap that will age well and be a confidence inspiring addition that adds pleasure to your watch wearing. For the price, i'm very pleased.It looks and feels like a quality item. Very stiff when you first wear it, though will soften and show signs of 'natural wear' in time. Mine is showing signs of aging already where the pin goes through the hole and the 'buckle??' goes across, though I don't see this as a negative as long as it doesn't crack through.Be aware, colour variation can be considerable from what you choose. If you see this as a positive and appreciate this makes it more individual and not as run-of-the-mill, you're on to a winner.I nearly replaced mine with the standard black material strap from the manufacturer... I’m glad I didn’t.

I bought this strap as a substitute to the one that came with my watch. A manufacturer's replacement is £280, and so I wanted to preserve it. This strap, while not being as high quality as my original is still very good and looks great on my watch.it is also very comfortable for such a thick strap. I will probably buy some for some of my other watches

This comes as a quality leather product. A bit stiff but I soon loosened it up. First time I have had the quick release strap and it is so easy to fit. Bought this to replace a steel strap and was not sure leather would look right on my 50th anniversary Concorde watch. It looks great.

Way WAY better quality than I had dared to expect at this price. I thought I would pop this strap on for weekend wear only and put up with looks of Whitings standard (silicone) strap for most Mon-Fri wear. It is testament to the quality of this strap that it is holding up very well after several months wear most days. Delighted with purchase and stitching detail looks great!

Easy to fit, classy looking watch strap at a good price which has worn well.

I ordered Black/Brown thinking that it was a black strap (as in the picture) with light brown stitching. However, it’s a brown strap with cream stitching. In fact there’s nothing black about it. The quality is excellent but if you want a ‘black strap’ then this one probably isn’t for you.

This strap cost £17 and it looks and feels like it should have cost a lot more. The leather is pretty soft and supple. It has a aged/worn-in look, which is why I bought it as I wanted a casual understated leather strap for a field watch.Quick-release springbars make strap changes really quick and easy.All good.
