1919687 Range Bag , Black

Fantastic and inexpensive range bags. I bought one 6 months ago (still looks brand new) and just received my second one today. Both arrived way ahead of time, which was nice. They are well constructed and have ample room. I have carried 4-5 boxes of ammo, two large ear protector muffs, several tools for emergency breakdown of weapons at the range, 2 ear plug sets in cases, two sets of range glasses, two mag fillers,a pack of stick on targets, a couple of small empty bullet holders (for switching out my defensive ammo to range ammo)and two pistols in the gun sleeves in the outside zippers. The bag did not sag at all (I did spread out my ammo across the bottom to help this). Would definitely recommend this bag to anyone needing a range bag but not wanting to pay $30 more for a big manufacturer's logo. If you want logos on the bag, save money and buy some patches to put on it. I personalized my wife's bag with a large Ruger logo on hers (bought here on Amazon) and mine with a 2nd Amendment patch, CZ patch and Walther patch. They look as great as any logo-ed range bag on the market (and still come in cheaper than other bags). For the ones that have complained about not receiving the dividers, NOTE... the bag does not have internal side pockets - those ARE the dividers! But I use them as side pockets for my tools , ear plugs and range cards. Items can slide out at the bottom, but I fixed that by putting a couple of small, no longer used, pocket holsters in the pockets and they hold all the tools and stuff great! The only complaint that I could come up with (a fixable, minor one) is that the handles on the bag did not have Velcro on them to hold them together for a quicker grasp. Easy fix, I simply cut two thin strips of Velcro and mounted them on the inside of the handles. Works fine.

After reading many reviews of various range bags, I am happy to say I feel that I selected the best bag for the money! Features I wanted in a bag were: low price, durability, numerous pockets, style. I would say this bag exceeded my expectations in all of the above. The GunMate bag is smaller than your standard duffel bag, but still large enough to carry everything you need for a day at the range. The two exterior pockets are large enough to hold the pistol rugs that are included with the bag - thus providing the padding needed to protect your handgun. The pistol rugs do not zipper or velcro shut and are fairly large (my S&W M&P9 [4.25" barrel] fits easily with room to spare). I actually stitched the other pistol rug into smaller compartments for my extra magazines - however if you have more than one hand gun you may not want to do the same. The main compartment is large enough for my LARGE ear muffs (Howard Leight R-03318 Leightning L3), small cleaning kit, Bore snake, safety glasses, and 2-3 boxes of ammo. As far as durability/quality is concerned, the bag is made of medium-heavy duty material with some sort of plastic backing (seems water resistant). The zippers are of very good quality and the side pocket zippers have holes designed for a small lock. The main compartment uses a two zipper system and has a velcro strap to keep it closed. The main compartment does not appear lockable. Inside the main compartment is a tough plastic bottom that doesn't seem to bend or warp when the bag is loaded up (granted - I don't carry much inside). The dividers are attached and adjustable with velcro, but seem to keep things in their place pretty well. I do not have issues with stuff sliding underneath the dividers. I agree with the previous reviewer that the only thing I would change would be to add individual pockets/pouches for magazines in one of the pockets or in the main compartment.In summary - I would highly recommend this bag to anyone with 1-2 handguns for a day at the range. Seems very durable (nothing wrong after first 2 range trips), well made, and everything I expected for a great price.

I typically carry only one or two pistols per trip to the range. I was tired of lugging a generic duffel around so I was looking for a decent range bag that wasn't going to break the bank. The GunMate Range Bag is simply awesome! It comes with two gun rugs that fit perfectly in either side pocket (pocket zippers are lockable - bonus!) and the interior is pretty roomy. The interior dividers are just nylon flaps that can be attached across the compartment with velcro to form pseudo-dividers, and my only minor gripe is that they are a little flimsy. However, so far they have kept everything separated so it's not much of a concern. My typical bag loadout: two pistols (one in each side pocket), 2-4 boxes of ammo, 2-4 extra magazines, an Uplula, two earmuffs, two sets of eyes, and an Otis cleaning kit. And I still have room to spare if I need to add something. The ammo adds quite a bit of weight in there but the construction of the bag appears very sturdy and I have had no issues or concerns with the heavy weight. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I was looking for something simple, and this was it. Carries one gun on each side. Plenty of room for enough ammo for the range, among other accessories. Good buy.

This is a nice litlle bag. It's still new but I can see that it's quality and that it shall last a long time. I would have liked a partition in the center to split in two the biggest portion of the bag. The side pouches have zippers with the option to put a lock. There is a padded envelope in each pouch to put your pistol. The center does not lock so legally I cannot put any firearm in that portion. All in all I am quite happy for the price I paid. 43$CDN shipped.

Great for what its designed for but zips are rubbish. Broke after less than 6 uses

This bag is nice and compact with 2 locking, padded side pistol pouches. Made well and has an open space interior for accessories and ammo. It isn't compartmentatlized like some but this works. Very quick turnaround time for delivery. Thanks!
