Dexter-Russell S8699 Turner, Solid, Stainless Steel, 8", Silver

After suffering through decades of crappy flimsy barbecue tools, it was nice to finally get a spatula that is sturdy, seems built to last, and feels good to use. I use it for everything from burgers to steaks to large fillets on the grill, and it works well. I wish i had bitten the bullet and gotten this years ago; I actually enjoy grilling again!

Very good spatula🥓🥩🍕🥞

I purchased one of these spatulas for use on my griddle, and then I purchased one more since I was very happy with the first one. I also purchased the matching dough cutter/scraper. The spatulas are very well made and don’t bend, even while lifting a 14 pound turkey, which I do often with this spatula when I smoke a turkey on my cooker. The edges are just sharp enough to chop items as needed. The only downside is that the polished finish does mar a bit with use, but that’s easy enough to buff out if needed. I’d definitely purchase these again, but they’ll probably last for years to come.

My husband had been looking for another steak turner like the one he had in order to flip the ribs. This is his favorite turner, now we own 2!

Indispensable tool in my chef kit

I was given a Dexter-Russell S8699 as a gift. It has been a wonderful tool that I use for grilling. I like the blade size, great for turning salmon and other flaky fish. I also very much like the stiff blade. It doesn't bend when turning heavier meats. I recommend this tool to anyone. I just ordered a second one.
