Everything fits together and keeps the pi nice and cool. My only change was to put a larger fan in it. My pi hovers around 95 degrees most time now. The blue light is the new larger fan I used.

These are fantastic for RPi 3B+ with PoE mounting in harsh-ish environments. I like the mounting tabs, and the fact that its metal, so that when I mount them outside in an enclosure, they can sink at least a little of their heat into the outdoors. They look professional too. The RPi fit great, along with a "LoveRPi Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) HAT". The included fan is a little fiddily to install in the right place to avoid hitting any heatsinks or other parts, but that is kind of to be expected. Fan is nice an quiet too. Overall, I really like these. Highly recommended.

i like everything about this kit, except for the fan. It is way too loud. I use this for a Kodi media center, and the fan does a great job cooling, but it is audible even when placed in a cabinet. If there was an easy way to slow it down a little that would probably help, but this little fan just makes too much noise as is. Otherwise this kit would get 5 stars. I will probably purchase a slightly larger & slower fan (possibly a Noctua 40x20mm 5v model) and modify the case a bit to mount it. The main reason I chose this kit was the mounting holes to allow me to mount it in whatever orientation i want with a few screws and not worry about it falling off. I LOVE the case! It is very well built ans will protect my RasPi from debris while mounted in a hidden away location.

I have always been fascinated by the Raspberry Pi and, admittedly, look for reasons to buy and use them. The ultimate project is still to make a display google calendar for my kitchen—someday. I recently purchased one to setup a Homebridge hack to get non-Apple HomeKit, e.g., Nest, products working with iOS and HomeKit. If this is something you are looking to do, I highly recommend HOOBS as your method. It works VERY well. Anyway, when I got it all up and running with a CANA KIT Raspberry Pi I purchased a few months ago, I wanted to move the Pi into my network area in the basement. This cute little metal mount seemed like the perfect solution, and it is. The parts are tiny, so be careful when opening and assembling. Use the images above to help you figure out how to install the case fan.

RPi 3B+ running pi-hole idled at around 60C in a plastic case. With this case, the fan and the metal shell dropped idle temp to 48C. the PCB mounts solidly to the underside of the case with screws. The case also has nice subtle cutouts that make the pi's LEDs easy to see. Would buy again. This is a nice low-cost metal case.

I got this case to cool down my Raspberry Pi 3B+, which I'm using as an emulation station with RetroPie. Especially N64 and PSX games were causing so much heat. This case really solved the issue. I like the metal casing and the design. It increased the performance by a lot. The fan is very powerful, I mean VERY POWERFUL. Thus it is very noisy to the level that I never forget to unplug the Raspberry Pi anymore after I shutdown the system. If you're looking for a cooling alternative, this is the product. If you're looking for a silent cooling solution, you need to reconsider this.

Seems sturdy, fits well and the removable wings for wall mounting are a nice extra.

I have purchased several of these cases. I love the way they assemble and the solid build. I would give this product 5 stars if they included a quality fan. Every case I bought needed to have a new fan installed. Some failed immediately. Several others failed over time. The fans they supply are junk. They start out quiet but then squeal and vibrate after use. The holes in the case are small and screws for other fans don't fit through without drilling out holes for mounting. If the fans supplied didn't need to be replaced this wouldn't be a problem.
