Alpha IndustriesWomen's M-65 Defender W Field Coat

I'm a thin woman, 5'5", but have long arms & wide shoulders. I usually end up with Medium sizes to accommodate sleeve length/room in shoulders. Only the Small was available in this jacket, but I thought I'd try it. Amazingly, it fits like it was made for me! Ample room for a sweater in the shoulders, and the sleeves are just right!The fabric is soft and sturdy; it doesn't have that got-a-new-jacket kind of look. Zippers and snaps are a nice vintage brass color, nothing shiny gold which I dislike.I haven't taken the hood out of the collar, as I probably never will, from the photo of it in the description. The collar stands up nicely. And YES, four good-sized outside patch pockets, and inside a zippered one and a velcro-close one. Can't have too many pockets! I love this jacket!I have NO idea what the pointy part of the cuff is, or why it will turn under/velcro close inside the cuff. Anyone know?

I am 5’2 105 lbs. I ordered both the S and XS because I knew I would be wearing heavy sweaters underneath. The XS fits better with plenty of room to wear layers underneath. There are a ton of pockets including a zip pocket inside and the coat is very heavy and warm. There are buttons on the inside to add a liner later. The sleeves are way too long for me so I will have them shortened. The fit is perfectly oversized yet cut for a woman. This is a well made quality jacket.

I normally wear a size 10 to 12 and opted for the Large. Cuffs hit at just the right place on my wrists and the shoulders and waist fit spot on too. Durable but cut to fit a female figure - love it! Comes with neat heavy duty dog tag on zipper.

The fit of this was weird - it was large in the body, but the sleeve opening was too tight. The quality is good - there aren't many lined camo jackets out there - but the fit is off. I had to return.

Excellent jacket like the real thing. Nice quality. I like it roomy. True to size.

I am a field inspector and I use this coat daily for work. The pockets are perfect for holding all my tools, phones, and business cards; nicer than wearing them on my belt.It's comfortable and cute. I can wear this with everything.On very cold days (20's-30's) I layer this with a fleece jacket over a thermal top. 40's-60's it's fine on it's own.
