So Far So Good
**INFO**I am a 27-year-old womanaround 163-157 poundsI am 5'4 and my first round on the stepper has been a success. My progress was doing 1442 steps in 32 minutes and I burned 200 calories. The workout REALLY hurts, meaning if it's your first time using one of these things, you'll feel your muscles being challenged. I know the front of my thighs were kind of firing up, but so was my upper butt cheeks. I could have sworn I felt something in my abs as well. I don't know. But you get tired easily because it's hard work, especially depending on how the resistance/tension knob is set. But I am impressed.**PROS**1) It already came assembled. The only thing I had to do was tighten the pulley under it.2) It does record your time, repetitions, and calories burned. And they are easy to see from above.3) I didn't really feel like i had to balance on anything else since the machine does not have any handles to keep balance on.4) I believe it does heat a bit beneath the peddles, but you won't notice.5) It is very easy to store away. It is not really heavy, but heavy enough to break your toes if you're not careful. I just slid it under my futon.6) Your progress does not reset. If there is a reason you have to step off the machine to do something, it will pause. It will not reset without your permission.**CONS**Can't think of any at the moment.I will keep updates on my progress.Update2/12/14I am using this for the second time and I had a little squeaking on the other side. It probably just needs lubricating.2/23/14The stepper is still going strong. I had lubricated the squeaking sounds successfully. You can really feel it burning your upper buns. I think soon I'm going to have a butt that everybody will stare at. O_o!12-27-16The machine is still going great, but I can tell it's aging. One of the bolts that connects the paddle had snapped off, but I was able to put it back together. Have used it over ten times ever since, and it's going great. The pink caps keep on the sides are always coming off, though, which makes it pretty annoying when the machine begins to rock. The only way I can get them to stay on is if I glue them on permanently, but, I shouldn't have to do that. It has been squeaking, making a lot 'aging' noises. I have not see different results in my glutes, but it really does get me sweating.

Original review and follow up 1.5 years later
This little stepper provides an excellent supplement to my exercise regimen. I do belong to a gym and also an online subscription exercise service so this in not my only option, but it provides a great no impact whenever-I-have-a-minute option. When I first stepped on it my reaction was “There's not enough range of motion in the step pads to get my heart rate up”, but my FitBit indicates my heart rate gets into the lower end of my cardio range fairly quickly. I add small hand weights and swing my arms fairly vigorously and the heart rate goes higher, or do rapid upper body light weight movements like shoulder presses, biceps curls, chest presses etc. I already do some strenuous cardio and weight training so if this is all I did for cardio I wouldn’t feel like it was enough but people who aren’t gym rats may feel it’s enough. What I love this for is to use it 5-10 minutes at a time when I have a few minutes and want to get my blood pumping. Or when my FitBit tells me I need some more steps. Seven minutes on this gives me 1,000 steps. Also love to throw it in the car for road trips. And since it’s low impact it gives me a nice non-smacking workout when I’m kind of sick and don’t want to give my body a pounding. Worth every penny in my book.....AND NOW UPDATE ! 21 MONTHS LATER....Still using this little puppy. It still works great. Occasionally needs a squirt of W-D40 but that's all the maintenance I've done on it. This is not my main form of cardio but I use it all the time when my FitBit tells me I need to get more steps in before the hour ends. I also jump on it whenever I'm on the phone because it gets my blood pumping but it's silent and it doesn't make me pant crazily so I can talk on the phone and get a little exercise without driving the person on other end of the phone nuts. I love that it's been maintenance and problem free, and that it's light weight so I can put it away at the end of the day yet move it around easily as desired. And it's totally silent so it's great for using while watching tv or a movie.

5+ years of usage and still going strong!
I got the original version of this with the black pistons back in 2018 and have used it weekly ever since. It is amazing! The range of motion i get with twisting my abs is incredible. 5+ years of owning it and its been worth every penny of the $50 it cost at that time. Mine probably has 1,000 miles on it and never had any issue other than it does get a bit squeky noises over time.

Pros & Cons
Love the colors and definitely does its job. It's a good little work out when you just want to throw in an extra 10-15 mins in the day, which is why I bought it. BUT: 1. One piece was broken when it came, the pink cap at the tip of the pieces that come out right by the timer. I didn't complain to the seller because it's nothing that effects it's performance. 2. the steps should be wider! I'm a ladies size 9 and my sneakers literally just fit on the pedals, but it's a little awkward until you figure out that you will not fall off. If your feet are any bigger than a 9 then your feet will not fit on the pedals. 3. I think the feet should be set apart another 2-3 inches - they are so close together that feel like you are in a box. Overall, if you just intend to use this for that extra 10-15 mins of exercise in a day, then I'd say go ahead and buy it. If you are looking for it to be your main source of exercise, then look for something else.

Love this stepper
I researched a mini stepper for months and chose this one based on the spec and reviews and I’m very pleased. It arrived faster than expected and was a reasonable price. It’s sturdy, yet easy to move around, it actually works and doesn’t make much noise. Initially, after only 5 mins I had worked up a sweat. I’ve worked up to 30 min bursts and I’ve noticed an immediate difference in my thighs, bum and core. All are noticeably toned. My balance is better and I actually really enjoy using it. It’s a nice change to my regular exercise routine. I don’t lock my knees to it’s good on my joints too!

Excelente, super recomendado.

Just what I needed
I love this thing. I use it with a laptop/reading extension support so I can have exercise while I work and I use it all the time because it is so convenient and effective, and what is best, I like it. Therefore it is just what the doctor ordered. I have had problems with some squeaking, but that has been taken care of with a squirt of oil: no big deal. It is sturdy, easy to set up, and has a good motion to it. It is very easy to fit anywhere, even in a space-challenged office. I got the pink because it was cheaper than the black, and although I would not have chosen it otherwise, it has a kind of campy charm to it. I have not used the monitor, because those things are never really informative, and it is too small for me to read anyways. Simple, low tech, convenient, and effective. I am not using for a full-out, hardcore workout, but consistently and at times vigorously. I am healthier for having bought it.

Amazing little machine for the money!
Okay so I've had this for a month now. I wanted to wait a bit before I reviewed this twist stepper. It is a fantastic and economical fix for in-home workouts. It's like riding a bicycle up hill, yet without the pounding nature to your knees. The hydraulic system is very smooth and it feels like a good workout for your lower body. If I have one issue it's that the digital menu is too small to see easily. I bought the extra two year warranty for $17 which came to $140 total, which is a great deal for what you get with this stepper. I highly recommend this easy little stepper wonder!!
