This Polyimide Tape fits well on my TAZ - 4 3d printer. It doesn't fill the print area completely but honestly i haven't had a need to print anything that large yet.I print almost exclusively with ABS on a heated bed and this has saved me from the troubles of glue sticks, ABS Slurry or whatever people are calling it now and days. some notes on use below:If you print ABS with this LET THE PART COOL before you remove it from the tape. If you do not because you are perhaps impatient like i was initially. You'll probably pull the tape off the bed and form air bubbles or worse yet, tear the tape. I went through about 3 sheets before i finally let the part cool before trying to remove and since then the tape has held with no markings or scratches. Once cooled a little finger push and the parts come right off.While printing I Always use a brim of ~2mm to prevent the part from curling off the bed. With the brim and this tape I've never needed to use glue or anything else. just let cool and remove with ease. Most of the time the brim easily peals away leaving a perfectly good part behind.Overall this is an excellent product for my use and should I ever manage to go through the other sheets I will most definitely buy again.

I have 3 3D printers and have this on the headed print beds of all of them. They are a little difficult to separate from the backing material but you have to do it so rarely and the price was reasonable.

Ordered this back in May 2014, received well before estimated delivery date, well-packed and in perfect condition.Have been using on aluminum heated build plate about 5 times per week since then with good but not excessive adhesion.No need for any solvent - just wipe with dry paper towel and begin next print.Still on original sheet of Kapton, no significant wear evident.Product and seller highly recommended!

I like it because if I can't remove the part I made, I can remove the film and the part - peal the film off the part. I try not to remove the filmunless it is poor condition. But on some items that is the way to protect a thin product.
