Genki: An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese, Workbook 2, 2nd Edition (Book & CD-ROM)

The text book is great for study groups it has a lot of material to work from, it comes with a CD though I wish they would have some kind of online file because a lot of lap tops now a days do not have CD Slots anymore ....

This workbook seriously reinforces the lessons taught in the textbook, an absolute must for either the self-learner, or if you are using the textbook for a class.

Book is excellent for those who read kana and have Japanese fundamental skill. I am using it to refresh my Japanese for a trip there in the Spring. Audio helps me retune for ear for Japanese inflection. Highly recommend

Genki Workbooks and texts are the only way to go when leaning Japanese! It's nice to have informational backups (dictionaries or vocab expansion books).... But I live and breath Genki. It's easy to understand, and they are what ALL the Professors/instructors/tutors use to teach with. Highly recommend!

My son used the series when he took Japanese at the local junior college while in high school. The text, workbook and CD are a well designed combination. It is a bit more elementary than when I took the same courses at UC Berkeley a couple of decades before my son, with less emphasis on Kanji, reading and writing and more on conversation, so pedagogically I would say it gives less of an academic foundation than the texts we used (written by Profs. Motofuji and Brennan, now out of print), but it is fine for junior college-level Japanese.

This is the text book my second year class uses. Our teacher has found this the best overall text to teach the many. many challenges of the Japanese language. The CD that comes with the textbook has been a great help to me.

I’m always skeptical buying workbooks online but this arrived in perfect condition! The Genki textbooks and workbooks are by far the best ones I’ve used for class.

A good book, I think I say this since I do classes with the school that made these books, but I think the lessons are easy to follow in comparison of other japanese learning books.

L'ho usato in aggiunta al 'genki' ho potuto così usufruire di molti esercizi scritti e in ascolto con il disco. Lo consiglio solo in aggiunta al libro di testo 'genki' in quanto da solo risulta ostico.
