Fixed our fridge!
The defrost was out in our old GE fridge and newer models did not fit in our space sell. This fixed the problem and hopefully our fridge will last another 20 years. It was not difficult to install for anyone with some mechanical ability.

Working great months afterwards
These words great . I thought I would have to get another refrigerator because the coils was freezing up. . But these saved me the cost of a new fridge. Also got the timer also for a complete set

Don’t Touch the glass cubes with the heater element in it. It will shorten the life.
Great parts, complete with wiring and all hookups.. 30 minutes after the DPD WR51X442 Refrigerator Defrost Heater & Thermostat Kit for GE Hotpoint arrived refrigerator was started up and running. Easy to install. Basically plug-and-play!

Refrigerator defroster parts were great-- Amazon timely delivery- not so great !
The refrigerator defroster parts worked. Only issue was that it took Amazon 3 weeks to get it to me because it was bundled with another item that was delayed. We had to manually, with a hair dryer, defrost the cooing cools from the built up ice three times to keep our refrigerator section cool enough.

Be prepared to do a little working around on a HotPoint CSX22GRA
The price is right - twenty bucks vs up to $140+ from other sources.But it's about an inch too narrow for screw-mounting into the CSX22GRA and the three-prong connector needs to be cut off and the wires spliced into the old unit's wires.But, bottom line, it's cheap and it works.

Perfect replacement part
This part was a perfect fit for my 20 + year old side by side refrigerator freezer. I’m a 68 year young female and with this $20 part I repaired the unit which is used as an extra in the garage. Working perfectly now for 4+ weeks since replacing the part. I’m thrilled that I was able to extend the life of this appliance.

Works like its suppose to.
I have had it installed for 2 weeks now. Wife wanted and new refrigerator as the one we have hasnt been cooling properly for a while.Took back panel off the back of freezer and seen it was pretty froze up. Ordered and installed part and fridge is working like it was new and its over 15 years old

Cheap parts, you get what you pay for
DO NOT PURCHASE! MY REFRIGERATOR ALMOST CAUGHT FIRE.I initially purchased one of these parts in the summer of 2022 in order to extend the life of my old refrigerator until I was ready buy a new one. The part worked fine for just under a year and my freezer began to frost over again. I still wasn't ready to buy a new fridge. So I purchased another of these parts.I installed it the same day that it was delivered. I notice the new part looks like a cheaper version of the prt I received last year.Later that night, I go in the freezer and take out some ice cream. I notice the ice cream is soft. So I go to check if the freezer is having problems again and see a bright glow from behind the bottom of my condenser panel and then hear popping and sparking. I had to cut power at the breaker to make it stop and keep it from catching fire.Try to find an OEM part instead of this product. Sometimes saving money isn't worth trouble.
