IKEA701.034.10 Regolit Pendant Lamp Shade, White

This shade is aesthetically pleasing. You do need to take care when you put in the wire that holds it open. It would be easy to tear the paper globe. Once up, the fact that it is paper does not matter. It will last forever as long as nobody messes with it.

My lamp arrived quickly just as other reviewers described it. It was very easy to install although very fragile with very thin paper and it has a long white cord with the switch near the part you plug in which could be very inconvenient. It also comes with only one hook for the ceiling to hold the shade when two would be better so I could place one in the corner to go down the wall and this is why I gave it four stars. It is pure white in color and I did add a white chain to the cord which makes it look much more expensive. For the price I paid (less than $20) I would recommend it to others because it fulfilled my purposes in the room and looks great! I

Super easy to setup and attach to a hanging lamp - we had busted our original lamp shade for our hanging lamp and nothing would work but this was the perfect replacement! Actually says ikea and come in the ikea bagging, with usual ikea directions for easy assembly. Super happy with our purchase - no tears or rips either.

I was looking for an attachable cover for a hanging light that I set up for my room since it uses a plug/light switch for lighting. The light I bought comes with a shade but it only covers the sides so the light shines right in my face at certain angles. This covers the light more on the bottom side while pleasantly dimming it to where I like it.Main down side is the thing is made of paper so during installation it could be ripped easily, just be careful with it.One minor issue I have and can’t resolve is the thing is slightly tilted because of how it attaches to the bulb. But it’s hard to see and doesn’t bother me anymore.

I bought one light at first and was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful soft light it gave off. Even with just one light it was enough to read by as I hung it in a corner over my bed. I loved it so much I bought another to hang in another corner of the room. I don't want bright light in my bedroom and these lights are perfect. They are a little delicate because of the materials in the shade but I really love they effect they create.

They look great, but one of the metal pieces popped through the paper while we were hanging them. I was being so careful and still had an accident. :(

I ordered this lamp having seen the actual Rogolit when I was at Ikea and forgetting to buy it. I didn't want to make the long drive back to Ikea, so I decided to spend a little more and order it here instead. The lamp shipped quickly, arrived in 3 days and I didn't pay for expedited shipping. HOWEVER this lamp is NOT FROM IKEA! It looks very similar to the Rogolit, and because I need it soon (it's for a nursery and baby is due), I'm keeping it. The actual Ikea Rogolit seemed a bit sturdier and includes all the hooks you need to hang it. This lamp is missing a hook that Ikea includes to secure the cord to the hook from the ceiling so it doesn't slide.The lamp looks good hanging and serves its purpose, but it's not Ikea quality and is definitely not the Rogolit. This seller shouldn't be selling it under that name.

I was scared it came in damaged from all the other reviews but everything went well, installation was easy too☺️

I like it… And it’s not a stark white. If you are wanting a full properly white one, this isn’t the one for you
