Does the lid adjust to accommodate right or left handed people?

Yes... if you set the lid on in correct spot the opening will be on whichever side you want.

lid replacement. I love this mug but when trying to slide the opening to drink it broke. Can I just purchase a replacement lid?

Did the pieces actually break into multiple pieces? Or do you have the slider piece, along with 2 smaller parts? Mine has come apart twice in the 2 years I’ve had it. The lid flipped out of my hand and came apart when hitting the floor. I Also assumed I had broken it. I contacted the actual ELLO company, only to learn they did Not have replaced lids. I put pieces in a baggie and left on counter. To my surprise when my son stopped over he spotted the baggie... the next thing I knew, he was handing me my lid Back Together. I looked at it and told him I Broke it... to which he replied... yep it was, so he put it back together. I have done that twice in the 2 years I’ve had it and both times he put it back together. Which I was asking if the pieces that came out were in multiple pieces, or they just came apart? Because it WILL go back together and work same as New. Mine Still does NOT Leak! I hope it just came apart on you also. I did order a spare cup just in case, because I LOVE this cup So Much! I do know the company told me they did not intend to make replacement lids. But look the company up online and drop them a note, just in case. I hope this helps.

Does this fit well in a car cup holder?

I got this travel mug for my wife. She has a Fiat 500 and no complaints about it. It seems to fit just fine in the cup holder. I bought a Fiat decal and personalized the mug for an added surprise. She thought I bought it that way. She liked it even more when she found out I personalized it just for her. Hope this helps.

Great

Good size, robust paint work and doesn’t leak. Keeps your coffee hot for hours and has a nice cork type handle and coaster

Simply superb

I was bought one of these a as a gift but unfortunately lost it. It is so good i have looked high and low for a replacement, and have eventually found a replacement on Amazon Global Store.The stainless mug keeps drinks hot for five hours plus. The lid seals easily and is not difficult to remove. The lid does not heat up when there is a hot drink inside it, bring your lips. It seals fully, no drips.The cork handle and base are a nice touch, great design.Sounds like i'm happy with it eh. Won't be misplacing this one....

Lid widget (light 'gray') missing...lid no longer opens... unusable :-(

Performed well at first and looks great, however in the last week the tiny grey lid widget went missing as the closing mechanism kept coming off and now it remains permanently closed. I wonder if Ello could mail me the small 'gray' lid widget and the closing slider??

Piping hot for hours

This travel mug is so worth the cost. Keeps hot drinks hot for many, many hours, not just warm but genuinely hot. Not tried cold drinks but, can only imagine it will perform as advertised.
