Frigidaire 316557115 Oven Control Board

Easy install and functions as it should, but is not an exact OEM replacement part (see side by side photos). I discarded the brackets from the original part as they would not fit the housing of the new part. I just used the original screws without the brackets.

Purchased this when my oven suddenly decided to not bake things. The burners worked and that was about the only thing that did. When searching for a reason why my oven stopped working it led me to replacing the oven control board. A search on Amazon and inputting my stove's model number resulted in this board being recommended.Installation was very easy and took about 5-10 minutes to complete. 7 screws to remove the back panel of the stove, 4 screws to remove the non-working control board, use of a pliers to grip the edge of the old overlay to remove it from the old control board, reapplication of the old overlay to the new control board, and reassembly of the oven.One piece of advice, take a picture of the wiring locations on the old control board prior to removal or simply unplug them one at a time while immediately connecting them to the new board. There's 5 wires along the right side of the board that you DO NOT want to get mixed up. I used a pliers in removing the old button overlay and this made it extremely easy. The adhesive remained mostly intact and allowed it to be placed on the new board with some security. The overlay was further secured when I mounted the new board to the stove with the 4 screws. Some will state that you need an entirely new overlay but I would hold off on buying this $15-20 part until you know that your old one will not work.My oven is now fully functioning for a fraction of the cost to have a repairman come out and do it.

I’m so glad I ordered this for my Frigidaire smooth top stove! The old panel overheated and started continuously beeping. We had to shut the power off to make it stop. I ordered this part (motherboard) on a Monday. It arrived within 4 days. After taking off the old board, the new board was easy to install and only took about 30 minutes top! My stove and oven are working wonderfully now. I’m so glad this was available to me and I didn’t have to call a costly repairman to replace it! Best $100 I ever spent!

I was baking a peach cobbler and i heard a pop. my breaker tripped, which it has never done before. i reset my breaker and continued baking, only to find out the oven wasnt working. neither was my broiler. the stove top worked. so i went on the net and investigated the situation. i thought it was the oven relay, which it was. but the oven relay is not replaceable on this unit unless you have a degree in electrical physics. lol so you have to replace the whole panel. which i you tubed a video to see how. it took literally 20 minutes to replace this unit. its just plug and play in the back of the stove. i took a picture of where the wires went before i started pulling it out. the new unit shows the seconds on the timer, not just under a minute but for the whole time, which is not what was on the old one. i thought it was kinda silly that you need to buy the sticker to go over the panel, because it is blank, but then i realized there are black and white stoves so choose your sticker color to go with it. For around $100 you can get your stove back up and running. i hope this helps you with your choice.

Perfect and easy replacement, and saved buying a new range. I was able to remove the face cover from the old control board without damage by using a hair dryer and peeling it up slowly, so that's another $25 easily saved. The control board itself is a fairly simple DIY parts replacement. Six or eight screws on the back of the stove to access, four holding the control board in place, and then five wires and one multi-connector to plug in. If you're nervous about mixing up the wires take a photo of them before you unplug from the old panel.For background, our old oven control had started shutting off intermittently, usually while the oven was on. So in the middle of cooking something, the display would go black and the oven would just turn off. And then sometime later, the clock would light back up and it would be like nothing had happened ... until the next time. If your stove works fine, and your oven heats up like it's supposed to, except your control board is on the fritz, this is what you need. (Obviously make sure it's the right one for your specific model.)

The media could not be loaded.  Item worked for 6 months and now as you can see from the video the display is freaking out. This only happens when the oven is on. Seems like the display is defective from the manufacture but I no one will refund me or try and assist with a replacement. I was told the seller cannot take a return or refund after 90 days. They said they would contact the manufacture but its been over a week since then and I have received no word. Meanwhile we just have to hope our oven doesn't catch on fire and burn our house down. As you can imagine I do not suggest this product.Edit 10/19/22The seller has gone ahead and sent a replacement before hearing back from the manufacturer which I appreciate!! up' d to 2 star.

This was the exact replacement for my Frigidaire FFEF3050LS. The Amazon part search resource couldn't guarantee this was the right replacement part, but I found the 316557115 number on a label on top of my burned out control board (it had actually generated flames out the back of the range when it failed). The only way to see the number is to unscrew the board and pull it out. Giving it 5 stars because it works fine since installing yesterday. By the way, I didn't need to buy a new plastic overlay. Using caution, I removed the old one by running a razor blade all the way around between it and the old control board. There was still enough adhesive to stick to the new control board, and so it maintains the original appearance.

Easy to install. Fit 100%. My old one was Broken at 4 screw sides, and as a result came off. Very happy after replacement - back to normal working condition. Saved me from expensive repair.

Should come with the white cover. Had to recup, the old one, from the clock.

So far it’s a excellent product.

Oven controller was promptly shipped and packaged well. It was the latest improved version of the controller and worked perfectly as a replacement!On a side note this is only the controller module.. the front panel sticker which is white for our unit is a separate item if you need it. I just pulled the old sticker ( peel it slowly with a fine blade or you could end up with a sticker missing some color at the edges) and used it with the new controller.. it's been a week and all good so far..

Was everything that they promised. Just take your time removing the overlay from the old controller and you're all set.
