Unimpressed with the results
I tried it on the white tile and grout in a large steam shower. I wasn't very impressed by it. I got better results with a mild abrasive cleanser a power brush and diluted bleach.

Excellent Cleaner
OMG. I have tried bleach, commet & ammonia full strength while scrubbing with a utility brush. Nothing worked to brighten the grout lines in my floor. Then I found this, it worked so fast & easy. Pour it on a small section & scrub while wet you see results that fast. It worked so well I tried it on my shower that had a buildup of water stains & hard water. It took a little more scrubbing but I think because it ran off after spraying instead of being able to soak in. But it worked.

Best thing I’ve ever used on grout!
I used this while prepping to seal our grout. Floors had already been cleaned and scrubbed with bleach the day before. We didn’t even know that the grout was that discolored before using this product. If you are scrubbing by hand, this requires some effort and is moderately time consuming. The results are definitely with it.

Both the Tile Institute and the JohnBridge websites said this product would work
It took some of the white haze off of the tile, but not enough to continue to use it. I ended up purchasing a penetrating grout color sealer to make the grout a dark brown, which was supposed to be the color. I don't think it is a problem of this product, but more a problem of how it was installed. This product did not work for me as I needed it to. It may work fine for people who have light colored grout.

Did a great job
I bought both the acid and alkaline cleaners from StoneTech to clean the 5 year old unsealed grout on my kitchen floor. The alkaline did OK (mixed at the highest concentation), but the acid did a better job. I am not a pro, but from what I have read, it is the type of dirt or stain that determines if the acid or the alkaline will do better. I wasn't sure, so I got a small amount of each. Acid won (and restored the grout to what it looks like in areas that have seen no foot traffic).

This is a great product that is easy to use
My quarry tile floor looks new again. This is a great product that is easy to use. I diluted it with water on a 1 to1 basis and only used a little bit at a time-just enough to wet the tiles. I then scrubbed the tiles and grout-followed by a rinse of clean water. When it dried, I resealed the floor. I never thought my floor would look this good again. The one quart was enough to do at least 400 sq feet.

Very good product. Went full strength with it because I ...
Very good product. Went full strength with it because I needed to completely remove years of sealer build up that peeled when the dishwasher leaked and I only discovered the problem when the ceramic Saltillo tiles started becoming discolored and the sealer was a smoky white. The water leak was happening below the tiles! It was the only solution that worked and I will buy a spare quart again for future calamities.
