Components Gino Light Mount

I purchased two of these to mount extra lighting on my Surly Cross Check. I didn't have any more room on my handlebars for any other accessories so i had to figure out another place. My bike has mid blade fork mounts and I decided that would be a great place to mount two headlights to keep me safe on my daily commute.They are well made and install in about 20 seconds. after hundreds of miles of biking they have not come loose and my headlights have stayed in place.

This part was a great find. I needed something to attach a lights to the front fork of my bicycle for night riding. This is a great solution. Bought two and they are very well made. High quality and work great.

Way too expensive for what it does

Solved a problem at a price. There are less expensive alternatives however I may have to plead to a certain bike snobbery. The finish more closely matches my esthetic than any other part I could find. I am afraid at that point it is a case of what the market, (me) will bear.

I could have made something cludgey with hardware store parts, especially at this price. Sadly, appearance is important to me, and you can't get a better appearance than a Paul product.Smooth and shiny, it works as intended, although not perfectly. Sadly, the hole only works as an M5 bolt. Personally, I would have preferred the larger sized bolt to mount on my Nitto M12, so, instead of being able to thread, I had to put a nut on the other side. Ain't no thang.Works great. I'm glad I purchased. I'll get another if needed.

Paul makes industrial strength, beautifully machined bicycle accessories and components. The Gino Light Mount is a perfect example. Light weight, capable of being mounted on brazed-on fork mounts or rack screws, or any place you can secure an M5 screw, they allow the placement and fine tuning of all kinds of lights on bicycles. There are several other products that do the same thing but none that exude this kind of quality and longevity.

Wanted to lower my headlight to the level of the axle. Works perfect for me, much better visibility at night on my long rides.

This product is just what I needed to free up space on the handle bar for my light. The quality of Paul products is top notch. This product led me to purchase a set of "thumbies" from Paul Components for a handle bar swap.
