working on piranha 140cc
recently installed piranha 140cc engine and read reviews on this carb and decided to try it, stock was a 26mm and this one is a 30 so worth a shot. it took me 1.5 days of messing with it and I finally figured it out. For me in Wilmington NC basically at sea level. I screwed both screws out 2 turns. I moved the clip on the needle jet to the 2nd one from the top, dropping it down to make it run leaner because it was running really rich. I used both pilot and main jets that came with it and honestly I feel like I got lucky. I have zero experience with carbs and have watched countless YouTube videos trying to figure them out. I included a crude drawing of the needle so you'd understand what I did, hopefully it'll help someone 🙂Oh and it's awesome 👌I have better throttle response and I think a little more power on top end

Direct swap fro RZR x14 bike
Works great and definitely has more power.I wanted to make a review because I didn’t see one that was cut and dry when we looked to find a good swamp for the OEM carb on our RZR x14 125This swapped out relatively easy, only thing you won’t really be able to use is the originally line with the spring, the original line is to big you will need to use the supplied smaller ID tube with the spring. We are decided to not use the exterior filter as it’s to big and would probably melt from contact with hot parts of the bike. That being said it has a fuel filter sponge so you just need to of course be careful to not get it wet.Other then that there was ZERO TUNING needed it worked right out of the box.

Not any better than old carb.
Update #1: mine came pre-installed with #38 pilot, and #95 mainUpdate #2: re-starred to 3, as they give me $5 cash back.Update #3: having a hard time finding proper jets for this thing. The main Jets seem standard, 2 kits I have bought both fit. However, the pilot Jets are troublesome!Have ordered a jet kit, may update one last time If I can get this thing running properly!I'll tune a bit more before any firm say-so, but as of yet, it doesn't work any better than the old carb.On a 2020 apollo ADR125-21, the supplied intake won't work as it puts the throttle cable directly below the frame tube. With OE intake, can't use the supplied air filter as it touches the exhaust. And the supplied gasket is for the carb side, no head/intake gasket supplied🤦🏽♂️I have yet to pull the bowl off for inspection, but haven't gotten the bike to run more than a couple seconds at idle, just dies (overfuel). Tried initial idle setting, tried 2 1/4 turns, tried 1 1/2 turns, can't get it to start and stay running. Was flooded a couple times now. Also lower the slide needle 1 notch 🤷🏽♂️

Perfect
Have a 250cc tao-tao/tao motors quad100% a bolt-on application. Works great! Very happy with the product.Only negative if you could call it that, the hardware that was included didn't fit, so I just re-used the old hardware, no big deal for me. But I could see where that would be a problem for a different application. With that beingsaid, I take nothing away from the product, works great.

Buy a better one.
No amount of adjusting ever got this to run properly on a Apollo RFZ 125cc. It popped and backfired, high idled, and wouldnt run unless it was on choke. Spent hours tinkering with it. Junk product.

Mostly new Tao Rhino 250 runs great now!
I bought a Tao Rhino 250 quad a little over a year ago, new. It never ran right - would die once warmed up. I wound up parking it and recently decided to pull the carb to inspect, clean, etc. I noticed the plastic chole lever was broken, so I decided to purchase this new carb to fix that and just to see if the issues were mostly carb related.Install was simple. The only issue was the air intake. Prior hose was a bit to small but I was able to stretch it to seal. Also, the Rhino looks like it has a hose like you'd see on a car with a PVC valve...the new air filter assembly doesn't have a port for the hose. So I just kept the hose connected to the engine and shoved some of the old filter in the opposite end of the hose. The quad seems to run perfect now. So far, no problems at all. I had to adjust the idle screw a bit but that's all.For the price, I don't think you can go wrong
