This is my second set of these. The first set languished in my closet for months, because I didn't care for them at first. They were too thin (they are very thin) and the feel is silky, appearance is shiny - not at all what I was expecting.Fast forward to the beginning of this month. I took a pair out to wear around the house. After a while I'm thinking, "holy schmoly, these are comfortable!". After wearing them around the house and outside watering plants, etc, I've decided I really like them. No, I love these shorts!They just dissappear on you, and out of your thoughts. They're that comfortable. This week I bought another set.The size and fit is accurate. The size I picked is the size these are. Pockets are on the smaller size, but good enough for what I need them for. Quality, I'd say, is very good to excellent. I can detect no quality issues so far. They wash well, keep their size and shape and have an adequate string (shoelace?) to adjust them. Cost is excellent - five sets of shorts for 36 bucks.I cannot speak to durability yet. Time will tell. So far I'm happy and will look for other Real Essentials products.

I feel these aren't just for men...I wear these around the house and yard, perfect for what I need, very comfortable, come to the knees which I prefer, cool on hot days. I'm a senior female and I always buy some men's wear because they are made stronger and better than most female items. The price was irresistible/affordable for my income. These are a great thing. M

Fits great!Very breathable and lite.Last long.Does not soak up sweat.Note: The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because is because the craftsmanship of the shorts are kind of sub par, there were a bunch of thread hanging from some of the pairs of shorts when I received them, that I needed to cut off.

They changed them from what they were a few years ago. I used to love these shorts, re-ordered several times. This time (July 2025) they came in much thicker than they used to be. I prefer the previous amount of fabric which was light and perfect for summer.Also, the pockets are now very shallow. When i have my phone/keys/etc in my pocket and sit down, or at the gym, items are falling out of the pockets almost constantly.

They came on time and my husband’s very happy with all 5 of his shorts. Great fit and cooler than his other shorts and that’s a great plus! I’m sure I will buy more for him! They look very good on him and he loves the fit.

Love em, silky material, bright vibrant colors even after many washes. A little see through but I don't care.
