Inexpensive Acra Swiss style QR plate
It was inexpensive, the design is pretty nice too, it allows access to the battery compartment. The vertical side blocks the fluent movement of the flip screen, but it is designed to let the screen flips out at 90 degrees. and turn into the position, then continue to place in position. It is slightly inconvenient but I got used to that quickly. If that really bothers you, you can take off the vertical side of the quick release. The QR stoppers can be set on either the left or right side on both the horizontal and vertical side. Since it is modular, the screws can come loose over time, I think using some thread lock on the screws would be a good safety measure. The only concern I have is how long the paint will last as it goes in and out the QR clamp.

Doesn't allow for full articulation of the screen
This product was purchased as a stop-gap until someone made one that has the vertical portion of the bracket offset enough to allow full articulation of the screen. If the camera is clamped in the vertical position and you need to open or close the screen you have to remove the camera from from the ball head clamp. To use this horizontally close to the ground or up high you have to turn the screen when it is pointed back the feed it through the gap. If you tur it too far in the gap you can damage the display. It was OK for the price as a stop-gap but had to be very careful. I am replacing it with a ProMediaGear PLCR L-Bracket L-Plate for Canon EOS-R. It is much more expensive but there is no risk or frustration involved.
