XX-Large is American sizing, not thai!
I normally wear an XXL in asian sizes and since these were THAI fisherman pants, I thought I had the right size. These pants are clearly XX-Large in American standards, large enough to fit two people of my size! The picture should help you figure out if they will fit you. LOL

Worth Giving a Shot
I love the color of these pants. I’m a 5’7, 180 lb female and I ordered the medium. They have a very cool striped patten to them. Shipping was slightly delayed, but no big deal. This is my first time ordering a pair of pants like these. I think once I’ve washed them and broken them in, I will be wearing them around the house a lot. It could be because I’m new to this style of pant or because I need a different size, but there is some excess fabric in the crotchetal region. This may be the design or something I just have to get used to with these pants. I was considering them for work, but unsure at the moment solely due to this issue. I do love that they’re fair trade and relaxed in the fit.All in all, I took a chance and I’ll happy. Plus, the price was just right. A little time will tell how these are incorporated into my wardrobe, but I’m tired of jeans and traditional Western pants and wanted to try something new. So glad I did!

Very nice
Bought two more pairs.I also got the "Two-tone" (2T) fisherman's pants. Since these are the two most popular on Amazon, here's a comparison:I got each in the purple color. The 2T pants were much brighter. This is more of a maroon purple. With these coming in sizes, they fit much better than the 2T. These actually come to my ankle instead of being clam diggers. I'm a 33'x30' in jeans, and the medium fits me well. MUCH better ties on this brand. The 2T pants had ties that were kinda short and thin. These are long and thick which makes them more comfy. The 2T pants bled in the wash, these did not. Fabric is softer and seems to be of higher quality. After trying both, I ordered two more pairs in this brand.

Worth every penny.
This is a very large pair of pants, but the way they’re designed, accounts for that, so they fit quite nicely. The length is just right (I’m 6’1” 185lbs) and a 34”-36” waist. The hem cuffs slide on the floor but that’s because I usually wear everything low on my hips like they’re hip-huggers. If you wear pants around your waist, these are perfect. They are breezy and comfortable. I love these pants. I would definitely buy them again.

May shrink, but waist is roomy enough. Short.
Better for 28-32 inseam, if you want full-length. My husband was going to wear this and the gauzy white shirt to the Renaissance Festival, since it's usually so hot. Husband didn't quite know what to think at first. I tried them on, and tied them up to demonstrate. Too short on me, but I have abut a 35 inch inseam. Hubby has a 29 inch inseam, so they're way longer on him. If you are looking for a simple cotton garment that has a homespun look to it, it's this item. Seems to be of good quality, but, like the gauzy shirt, seems like it may shrink. I intend to hand wash this and hang it up or lay it flat to dry, as another reviewer suggested. The legs are fairly straight and wide.

Awesome, comfortable during the warm, humid nights. Must wash separately. I like that they come in different sizes.
Super airy in for the warm nights. My wife stole them so I may have to buy me another pair. They don't claim to be colorfast and it's true. Wash them separately because the colors bleed. I just run them solo in the small load gentle washing machine settings and then tumble dried on low for 15 minutes just to take the heavy water out, then I let them air dry the rest o the way.

Great Pants for A Big Dude - This Brand is Awesome
These are excellent and very well made pants. Beautiful rich color. I am 6 foot and 220 pounds with a 30 inch inseam and they fit me perfect. I have several pair of this brand - and they run a bit different in size from pair to pair . These are so much better than the cheap "thai fisherman" pants that sell for around $10 on Amazon. I own a few pair of those as well and they are thinner and much smaller.

Not what I expected.
First thing is I was expecting purple pants. They are blue. They would fit a petite person, which I am not. The only legs are about four inches above my ankles. They're not as baggy as I expected, but they are comfortable. The cloth is nice. They are more for house lounge wear so they will do for me.
