Looks like a genuine Sony OEM replacement battery
I followed all the positive reviews, and bought this battery for my PS Vita after getting it second handed and started getting the low battery warning for no good reason. The shipping was superb - quick and easy. The battery appears to be identical to every form with the original one taken out of the PS Vita, and held a charge much much stronger than the previous one that had a date stamp of 2012 manufacture. Thanks for making this item available for DIY job!

It won’t soil your carpet.
Thought I needed it but turns out I just had to reset my own. I only expected the battery but it also included three screwdrivers a pick spudger and a lever spudger. I recommend this battery it will not insult the memory of your ancestors nor embarrass you by running for president as a democrat 6 elections in a row.

New battery?
Old one on the left. New one had marker over the sony name but fits and works. Only concern is the age of the “new” battery. You can see the date on the battery is only five months difference from the bad one (left).

Long battery life. I highly recommend it
I watched a video on YouTube on how to apply this battery and the battery was already charged. It has a very long life . I go for days without having to charge it.
