Color:Green PLA Filament Information: Material: PLA (polylactic acid) Weight: 1.05KG Gross Spool / 0.92KG Net Weight (Minor deviation). Recommended nozzle temperature: 190 ° C - 220 ° C Diameter: 1.75 mm (roundness tolerance +/- 0.02 mm) Bed temperature: It can not be heated or available (35 - 60) ° C About PLA materials: 【It is suitable for all occasions】 Polylactic acid (PLA) can print large models without a hot bed and the corners are not easy to lift. It has low shrinkage and works well even when larger models are printed. It is suitable for all sizes of printed matter. 【Excellent 3D Printer Printing Materials】 Polylactic acid (PLA) has very good printing properties: there is no pungent smell when printing. The hardness and strength of the printed model are good. the shine is good. The stability in an environment below 50 degrees is 20 years. 3D Printer Filament Tips: - If the coil is damp, you can bake it in the oven at 50 degrees Celsius for about 50 minutes to restore dryness. - After opening the packaging it is forbidden to expose to fire or direct sunlight. Please store in a ventilated and dry place. - Because Pla + material consists of biodegradable springs. It's easy to get wet. You'll like this filament
I have to admit: The name of the color of this filament is what caught my eye in Amazon's "You may like this." sidebar. Amazon was correct. This is some very nice filament. It prints well at standard PLA settings and, so far, has been well-spooled - no crossovers; no tangles; very consistent. The color is a very rich purple. It's not clear from the product photo or the description, but this is a translucent filament color. You'll need several layers or perimeters to hide any infill, if that's what you want. I printed in single-perimeter vase mode and it was very nice. Purple vase in "Purple Haze." <grin>I think you'll like this filament and, in particular, this color. You certainly can't beat the price ($18 a kilo at the time of this review.) I'll be checking out some of the other colors of 3DRAX filament.

Will be buying more!
I've been printing almost exclusively with 3dMars pla/abs. Just dumped over $200 in upgrades to my CR-10S (vibration dampers, ultrabase build plate, Micro Swiss solid hot end, computer upgd, ect ect. the works...) decided to spoil myself with some fancy filament now that the printer is printing in God-mode....and ive never bought the fancy PLA+ stuff before... I saw the reviews for Purple Haze this last week and ordered a roll. It prints so well. Very little stringing, and its just georgious to look at for - whaever. I didnt buy it with anything in mind i just wanted to start testing some brands. Its VERY worth the price.Print settings: 214c, .2mm res, ~48mms speed, heatbed@60cHOLY COW! Sticks well, bonds well, consistent, single wall stable! STRONG! ..and IT LOOKS SICK! Almost an iridescent shimmer in bright light and it has such a pleasing deep glass purple color to it. Anyway I love it and will be buying more from these guys- love love love love it!

Quality variance per meter is way too high; trapped gasses; cold start issues; ocassional layer adhesion issues
Problems:- Cold start extrusion; takes extra time, longer skirt, or heat to start extruding, first ~25 cm of actual extrusion is very inconsistent.- Cold start fail; occasionally filament will refuse to start extruding at normal temp (220-230), and need a little manual push on the filament, or a higher start temp (240~250(+?)) manually extruding into air, then starting the print doesn't always work.- Out-gassing(?) while extruding; when extruding into air to load filament, etc. light popping sounds can be heard, and a strange pattern emerges on the surface of the filament. It seems like there are trapped gasses in the filament.- Quality variance per meter is way too high; the texture and print quality changes randomly as does the frequency of these changes; this could be related to the 'out-gassing' above. I suspect that the proper print temp changes along with the print quality.- The quality variance has stalled extrusion causing the machine to pretend to print for the rest of the job. The only way to clear these jams is use higher heat 240-250 or add extra force pushing the filament. Manually Extruding in the air for a while can get past the "thick" part, once the filament doesn't need assistance for a few meters of extrusion (cm? of filament) or feel your safely past the problem.- extra brittle; won't kink, will break! (maybe positive)- extra springy; that loose end of your is a ninja rabbit that doesn't want to be held, remember this before you get close to the end when loading/unloading etc. (because after it magically leaves your hand, you now have to unwind several meters of filament to be sure nothing got tangled then start all over again.)- randomly has layer adhesion problems. the rest of the print is fine, but a few layers had a problem and now you have two or more partial prints. Its cheap; but its not free and the time it costs/wastes is way more valuable than whatever savings one might get. I bought a spool to test, and it has failed. Many of the problems can be worked around, and 'usable' prints can be made, but since the target settings seem to wander around as the spool unwinds proper settings and usable prints become stochastic, i.e. a crap-shoot.I might have gotten bad stock; but i suspect that the defect rate is fairly high, some spools are going to be better than others. There are vast stretches of filament on the reel that work perfectly fine, but they are broken up by too many and too severe defects. I have only used about half so far, its possible that the quality improves (or gets worse) from here.*update* I finished the reel, and the back half was at least as bad as the first half. It might be possible that this filament is unlabeled carbon fiber fill; but i have failed to find any evidence of that other than the behavior. Overall yield of good prints was ~30%, absolutely abominable factor this in and the price of the filament is actually higher than quality filament; I decided to disregard this brand entirely, there are many other brands available that print much better.

Pretty, but not worth the hassle.
I bought this Filament because of the great looking color, and because my Granddaughter loves Purple; however, It just wont print. I have tried printing from below 200C and above 220C in various increments, but every time I have printed, it has clogged the nozzle on my Prusa MK2S.On the plus side, every object I have printed has had great color and the prints have been very smooth, up until the point it clogs. If I could every find the right combination of settings, it might be ok. So far, changing the temperature, print speed and retraction have not helped.I have printed several rolls of PLA from several different manufacturer with no problems, but just can't get through a single print on this one. I would not recommend this product.

acetone vapor bath for porcelain like finishes
It is not snow white, it is a slight off white/cream color. My wife likes it over the whiter-white color filaments because the figurines she makes and post processes with acetone look like porcelain when finished. I appreciate the color as well. The filament is good quality, price is very attractive (time of writing 16 to 17ish bucks) adheres great, and in my flashforge creator pro prints best at 225c with the bed at 80c. Unlike all the other filaments i use i did not need to modify the extrusion multiplier for this filament.I was allured by their money back guarantee; and was ready to use it at the first sign of quality issues. After many successful drama free prints I have to say there is no way this filament is going back. I just now ordered another roll to enjoy.in short, i'm a satisfied customer. Filament is one of those things you have to get right in quality and price; and they got it right so far for this particular color.
