This iron is worth the price
I started taking Ancient Nutrition Iron because my labs kept showing low iron and I was tired of feeling worn out all the time. I have tried a few other iron supplements in the past and most of them upset my stomach or made me nauseous. This one has been the easiest on my body so far. I like that it uses a whole food based blend. It feels cleaner and it never gave me the heavy or metallic feeling I have had with other brands. I noticed a difference in my energy within a couple of weeks. I was not crashing in the afternoons as often and I felt more steady through the day. The capsules are small and easy to swallow. I also like that it does not cause constipation which is usually my biggest issue with iron. I take it with food and it has worked well for me. If you struggle with iron levels and want something gentle that does not leave you feeling sick, this is worth trying. It has been one of the only iron supplements I have been able to stay consistent with and I can feel the difference it makes.

Good alternative to pricier item I was taking
I have low ferritin. My NP specifically recommended a different supplement which helped tremendously after two rounds, but the price kept fluctuating and eventually went from $60 to over $90, which was not sustainable for me. I went in search of something similar. I have yet to find anything that’s almost exact, but this Ancient Nutrition vitamin came close and the price point is great. Slight constipation, but not terrible. No weird taste.
