I have been using these for over four years and it actually works. I am not so sure that it makes hair grow but it definitely keeps hair from falling out as fast. There is a lot less hair in my hair brush and I don't have to clean the hair brush nearly as often as I used to.

Did NOT grow new hair. At this price I thought it would! Used this thing on my head for months. Very uncomfortable! It only made my hair less oily, but I did not buy it for oily hair... So 1 star is all it gets. Don't be fooled, if this thing really worked then why are there still bald wealthy people who can afford this thing?!

I've been using this for a while now and it has way more lights than my first hand held one, so easier and a lot less time to use. It is working well - my hair is doing and looking great - not falling out easily. It charges pretty fast and the charge lasts pretty well but the instructions say to charge after each use which I think seems unnecessary and overkill.I was really expensive though, so that's my only complaint.

Good strategy for thinning hair

My unit does not stay charged - only had it 10 days - contacted company - they said to return but when I started return- it says may be partial refund. This device was suggested by my Dermotologist so if I do not receive a full refund - she will be told - I don’t think she will continue to recommend if that’s the case. Anything less than a full refund is unacceptable - I will update when I know.

Hairdresser remarked that my hair was longer than usual and seemed thicker, too. She asked what I had been using/doing. When I told her that I bought the Hair Max to try and restore growth along my receding hairline, she told me that she thought I was getting some hair re-growth there. Time will tell, but after about 3 months of use, I am happy with the results.

I bought the Hairmax Laserband 41 on Amazon Prime day, and I was very excited to receive it. Unfortunately, it is very tight and gave me a headache. I had to force it open to get it on my head. The product description does not warn you that it may be too tight, if you have a larger head, and is not flexible at all. I am returning the item. Buyer beware!
