Probably the best war film ever. Really gives an insight into what it might be like to be aboard a U-Boot during WW2.Very long (some say monotonous) but isn’t what it would have been like at times? Apart from that you might be detected and depth-charged at any time.This IS the best released version (so far)Get some food and drink in and Bing watch..

Flimsy outer packaging mars the otherwise complete edition featuring the original movie, the director's cut, the TV series and the soundtrack, plus the audiobook of the novel, which unfortunately for me is in German.

This includes the English the original BBC audio on the TV version,and the German audio has English subtitles too.I have every version of this classic and outstanding tv series and films.You need the tv version, the rest are OK,but you can buy into the characters in the TV version far better,and certain parts of their lives come through more.Like my title says,avoid the political correct Sky one version blu ray,it is embarrassing to watch,and is written to give a lesson on today's political view, this version is purely about the lives of u boat men,not garbage story lines that begger believe layered with awful acting.Choose the best raw and original ,written by someone with real unter see boot experience.Buy it,what are you waiting for.

If you like submarine movies, this is the only one you ever need!The film is breathtaking and nice music. You will be suprised to feel empati with the crew.Its a shame it did not win any Oscar in 1983.But i want the TV version to be in 3 parts in stead for 6 parts ore to run whitout break!Its a little bit annoying to see the credits 6 times...

Excellent movie!Excellent box-set!A must have from every fan of the film!

A great release from Germany, everything apart from the MP3 audio book and various parts of bonus content has subtitles or English, for so no worries for English speaking buyers.Only downside was delivery, my box was damaged in various places, due mainly to the flimsy box. Better packaging by Amazon would of saved it.

Beide Filme und die Miniserie sind in perfekter Bild- und Tonqualität vorhanden. Das Hörbuch ist spitze, Soundtrack auch!Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: die Box ist billigst; dünner Karton, dünne Plastikhalter für die Discs. Da hätte die Box ruhig etwas "Wertiger" sein dürfen.

De verschillende versies van de film, de uitgebreide informatie over het maken van de film en het gesproken verhaal in Duits maken van deze bundel een spannend en leerrijk geheel

O melhor filme de submarinos alguma vez feito, e um dos melhores filmes de guerra. Realista, mostrando como seria o dia a dia a bordo de um submarino alemão na IIGM. Imperdível!

La véritable version du film est la en série TV plus de Romantisme plus d'action et de frayeurPlus long et plus riche beaucoup plus intéressante sur plusieurs Blu-ray + un Blu-ray de Bonustrès belle qualité d'image audio : VO Allemand,Anglais, sous-titres Anglais (son : DTS HD 5.1 & 2.0)il y a la première Bande originale du film sur un CD il y plusieurs Bandes originales qui sont sortisune ou on entend les dialogues de l'équipage en VO Allemand Jürgen le capitaine etc...pas sûr ce CD c'est la version originale du film la superbe musique de Klausil y 2 CD pour les télécharger en format MP3 je ne sais pas quelle version contient ces 2 CDla version cinéma Director's cut est la en Blu-ray (VO Allemand & Anglais) il y a un petit booklet en AllemandL'ensemble est dans un emballage cartonné sympa mais fragilePS : la musique est plus présente sur la version TV que sur le film ☺️
