Great item just what I needed

I bought these for my parent's house. In the loft, a breeze came through a couple of the pot lights in the ceiling. These are pretty handy and pretty big, too! Two of the lights were hard against the rafters, and getting the covers to fit was challenging. And as the wires ran over the beam, it couldn't form a tight seal. This is more a problem of shoddy electrical work, but if the plastic were more of a heat-resistant rubber, it would have worked better. As they are, though, they are pretty good. I used a sealant to glue them into position and put all the insulation over the top. No more breeze :)

Good product, no issues with the install. Fairly expensive for what is ultimately a plastic mould

I liked that they did the job but didn’t like I had to do 2 separate orders to get the number I wanted. Why not just do a plus button

Fiddly to hold one handed to place when lying with a cheet on fibreglass and head banging into cobwebbed felt. Glue not provided, and so had to go to the shop and buy stuff to gun out of a tube. Could be much better if the top was an easier shape to grip with one hand, and if it had tape applied already, so just backing paper to peel off.

I had to return the item due to having a false ceiling. Quality product and great customer service from thermahood.

Why only 4stars if the wiring was perfect it would be 5stars but that is never the case, so the thermahood had to be altered to accommodate different wiring position's as all fixes are different, they work well when fitted so some planning need to ensure they are fixed properly. Checked how tidy your wiring is before purchasing as might need larger size to accommodate the wiring and fittings
