Very solid construction and hardwired. This thing is probably bullet-proof but only time will tell. Connections are keyed, friction, and screwed together. The wire will break before your connections come apart. There are 2 microSD card slots with 128Gig max. Since it is at a lower resolution, you aren't forced to buy a huge SD card. The lower resolution video format is viewable by anything, to include hardware that is very old, and easier to deal with than 4k. Install was simple except they left out the yellow wire from the cameras purpose. It is not a ground or it would have been green (at least in the US). The yellow wire is a signal wire to make the camera the active camera. Left signal for the left camera, right camera when you use the right directional, and rear camera active when you backup. Thus, the front camera doesn't have a yellow wire because it is always active. Since every vehicle is different, you will have to figure out how to connect the yellow wire on your vehicle.

Got this camera for use on a small bus. When the package arrived and I opened it, I saw the monitor screen was very scratched and had to have been installed prior. Installed all four cameras in a day and everything worked well. After the bus was put into service and within a day or 2 the monitor started cutting in and out. It shows a message that the sad card is not formatted yet both were formatted when installed. The rear camera is now fogged over from moisture entering the camera. It has been less than 2 weeks since the installation. I have reached ou5 to the manufacturer and got 1 email asking when and where did I purchase the unit. I replied with all of the information they requested and that was the last I heard from them. That was a week ago. I have tried going through Amazon to take care of the issue and all they say is pack it up and send it back for a refund. As I said earlier the system is installed in a bus, the bus would have to be dismantled to remove the cameras and spend more money on a new system to replace this one. I just want a system that works. All it would take is a NEW monitor to resolve most of the issues I am facing. Maybe this review will get someone’s attention and maybe someone will stand behind their product and try to help a customer in need without making my buy someone’s else’s system after already paying for this one and spending my time installing it and not make me remove this one only to reinstall someone else’s system.

Works like it should

Front camera has lines within 3 hours, Double sided tape for screen dropped screen and scratched it in 20 minutes. And does not have parking mode, one power wire. You can only wire it to battery or key on power source and not both. Pro/ 9 to 24v power supply, plenty of camera cable length

When first installed the camera worked just fine. I was able to quickly learn my way around the DVR. The concept is good but pretty plane Jane. The dvr no longer works. I've had it for three months. It boots up comes on then shuts down repeatedly. I've tried everything in troubleshooting for a possible cause. Once you purchase it your pretty much on your own. The manual is extremely vague on instructions. There is no troubleshooting table included. Video quality is very poor. I do not recommend buying this camera system. Your wasting your money.

I got this for my husbands 18 wheeler so he can see what’s goin on in his surroundings. He loves it.

The camera & night vision quality are amazing!

Unfortunately it it's not possible to leave a 0 star review but boy does this pile of dung earn it. Its barely functional when it's working... and it only works maybe 50% of the time. The remainder is spent destroying SD cards and freezing up for no apparent reason. The few videos I managed to get before my cards were screwed up were slightly better than potato quality. Oh, and this "new item" arrived with the screen scratched and the sun visor broken because apparently I'm not the first one to have trouble with the unit. I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT waste your time or money on this product!

About a month after installing this unit, which worked OK for a while, the monitor screen gave out. Subsequently I contacted, the manufacturer VSYSTO about it. Following their instructions to show the state of the screen, they concluded that it was, in fact, defective, and agreed to send me a new one in 10 to 20 days. That time has since long passed and no new system monitor delivered. I emailed them to inquire about the missing delivery and have yet to get a reply from therm. I do not recommend this unit to anyone. It didn't last, and the customer service is less than acceptable.

Screen is not clear and keeps passing ...does not record smooth clear video

When it arrived the mounts were scuffed and we sensed it may have been returned. We tried it and it just kept rebooting, didn’t work. Amazon approved the return and we are sending it back. Others may work fine but ours didn’t.
