Did not find this book particularly useful, espeically if you're a candidate looking for something to help you pass any of the CFA exams. The graphs and data might be interesting to some, but most of it is pretty obvious considering what others have written about the test both in books and forumsThe fact that this book is less than 100 pages but cost over $25 should've probably been a red flag. I was hoping that it was just very concise and information rich. Unfortunately it was not. For what I paid, it would've been nice to get something a little more substantial (in terms of value of the information).This probably could've been a short internet post to be updated yearly but for some reason was turned into a book.If you're a data geek with a lot of time on your hands it might be worth a look. Otherwise, look elsewhere. I'm planning on returning it.

This book is awful. it has nothing substantial in terms of helping you prep for CFA. everything it describes is common knowledge and I just can't believe how many paid upvotes there are.I am returning it.

Useless

I have read the 3rd Edition to the 300 Hours CFA Exam Insights and can honestly say that it is a must have in my preparation for what are (in my opinion) without question the most difficult finance examinations. The book contains all of 300 Hours' "analytics, conclusions and learnings" from a large sample of exam results, focusing on areas such as the make up of each of the CFA exams and which topics to focus on, to how much practice each student should be prepared to do in hopes of being successful. I am sure that this update only brings more helpful insights.I highly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about successfully completing the CFA program.

This product helped me focus and feel confident about my strategy heading into Level I and II. The data is unique to 300 Hours and provided a few crucial tips for the exams. At the end of the day I thought it helped address my pain points in a concise and digestible fashion. I have already recommended this product to my friends/co-workers and do the same for you!

The book is great in assisting one to develop a strategy for each level of the exam. Think of this book as providing a macro view of the exam. There is no substitute for putting in the time to study and practice the material, but one can enhance their preparation by reviewing best practices from past candidates. The basis for many of the insights is derived from surveys and polls that 300 Hours has conducted over the few years. The value in this book is in clarifying common questions about the structure of the exam (not the actual exam content) and distinguishing the study methods between those that passed the exam versus those that failed. The cost and short amount of time to read through the book are small relative to the amount of unique guidance the book provides.

The information here is awesome! This will save you countless hours pouring through the website to glean every tidbit of information. It is collected here in an easy to use format and well organized no matter what level you are taking.The tips and tricks I learned here helped me to pass the first level and I have a good start on Level II. I plan to re-read it again before I start Level III.

Useful set of data on the CFA exams, including pass rates and some demographic information on test-takers. The insight is well-organized and not widely available, so the effort to collect and communicate the information is fantastic.The report could be improved with additional information and deeper analytics as newer editions are released (which happens each year). A reader should expect to get high-level insight into who took the test, whether they passed or failed, and which areas to focus on. She should not expect to get some world-changing secret on how to pass.

Not worth wasting money on - the information contained in this book can be found freely on the internet. The only use this serves is it saves you a few minutes looking it up on google. The presentation is nice though.

Die enthaltenen Informationen sind nicht schlecht, es werden Statistiken zu den Anforderungen der einzelnen Levels preisgegeben und der eine oder andere Tipp findet sich auch darin. Jedoch ist der Umfang mit knapp 90 Seiten doch sehr überschaubar und ohne den vielen großen Grafiken und der großen Schrift hätte das Buch wahrscheinlich nur noch 60 Seiten. Für das ist das Buch schlichtweg zu teuer! Klar sind die Statistiken recht nett, einige Forumsbeiträge im Internet würden es wahrscheinlich auch tun.

Good Insights ,Good content , Quite Helpful

Save your money. Aim to get more than 70% to pass. Common sense? The supporting information that explains how they came to this conclusion is pointless. The fact they need to used double spacing and large print, further padded out with repetitive statements makes me think this book is nothing more than an attempt to raise money off the back of their website's popularity. Once again, don't waste your money.
