Lulu and the Duck in the Park (1)

My daughter protested for me to read this at first. But the story was cute and we loved it. She’s asking for more LuLu books.

Lulu is a wonderful girl who loves animals. Cute characters to whom young readers can relate. The story is very appropriate for young readers. Nicely illustrated. I am a teacher and bought this series for my strong first grade readers (reading a grade or two above level). I think it will be perfect. Great series for grade 2 or 3 readers. I can see a student wanting to copy Lulu's love of animal.

There is always action and humor to keep her interested since we read small portions of a chapter each day. Very relatable.

My eight year old daughter enjoyed the Lulu series. She is an animal lover and this was a great first chapter book for her.

A lovely story, and the series only gets better. Lulu is a sweet and curious girl and we love reading about her many pets (and her many responsibilities).

We love the Lulu stories (my children are 5 and 7). This is the first one in the series and introduces you to Lulu, who loves animals. Really engaging story, pitched at the right level. Highly recommended.
