I was sort of skeptical when I saw how small this was out of the box. But I filled it up and tested it with the hardest test first - 100% cotton/linen and as you can see from the before and after photos of the white shirt, it did great. Obviously one needs an iron to make edges and seams go completely flat, but this little steam did a good job overall in making a very wrinkle shirt wearable. I did a second test with a fabric that was a blend and it did a good job as well. That said, while the steam was quick (and very hot), it took quite a bit of time to do two shirts. I think that's because of the size. There's only so much water it hold and only so much steam that can be produced with a small steamer. Overall, for the price, the convenience and the ability to get the job done, I'm giving it a 5 stars and would certainly recommend, especially for a traveler.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this is the worst steamer I’ve ever used. It steams up fast but it then pauses every 30 seconds and I have to wait for 2 minutes for the steam to release. I was trying to steam a 6 yr olds cotton shorts and it took forever bc it kept psusing. Then by the time I finally got them finished, I had to reload the water reserve. So frustrating! I thought perhaps it needed breaking in so I gave it several more chances to no avail. It sucked each time. I’m returning for money back. BTW I used distilled water as suggested.

I followed the instructions on how to use the steamer. I filled it below the max fill line. I set it down to let it heat, and as soon as the water heated, the steamer gushed out hot water. Luckily I had the steamer placed on the floor. If I were holding it or if it was placed by any object, I would have been badly burnt, and the objects would have been ruined. I unplugged the steamer to stop the gushing, but the water was already all over the floor. The water had flown out of the machine in huge gushes all at once. I attempted to use it again after it had cooled down. This time I only filled it half way. The same gushing occurred. It was very dangerous and I could have been hurt by it. This item was not functional.

This steamer worked well for the first 10 - 15 seconds and then it shut itself off and stopped working for no reason. The on switch remains lit but it does not work. It started working again after I toggled the on switch multiple times but this pattern continued. It does not stay on for more than 10-15 seconds at a time despite water remaining in the chamber and takes longer to start working again by toggling the switch than it remains on rendering it completely defective. I purchased before a work trip but will be returning as soon as I get home.

I plugged the steamer in to use for the first time and turned it on to begin preheat. The on light turned lit up briefly but a few seconds later the steamer popped and the on/off switch was useless and shut off.It wouldn’t flip to the on or off positions anymore, just sat in the middle and went straight back to a neutral position when trying to move it to the on or off positions. I tried to move to a different outlet to ensure it wasn’t a faulty outlet on my end, it still would not turn on. I am EXTREMELY upset about having spent the money on this for it to break before I even got to use it.

How disappointing!! During the first use, it stopped working completely with half the water left, like it just turned off all by itself. I tried to fill it up and use it again over and over, but it did the same exact thing every time! And the first couple of minutes it DID work, it did nothing to even take out a bit of one wrinkle on my dress. I obviously received a defective one, because the one I received was NOTHING like the excellent reviews stated. It's boxed up to be returned as I write this.

I was impressed on how well the steamer works. I’m so happy to get it. Great product.

This was a compact steamer that is good for a few items of clothing. Now that I’ve had it for over a year, the ball that heats up is rusty and the interior is gross. I never left water in the steamer after use.
