Do NOT waste time or money.
I was very disappointed in this booklet that comes from Lindy Smith. This 32 page compilation offers absolutely nothing that you couldn't find in another of Lindy's book, which are much heartier in substance and information for cake decorating, in relation to flowers. This information can even something that can be found through online searches.I am truly perplexed how this could have been even considered for publication and sale. Lindy has written many other fine books, which would be worthy of your effort, but this is not it.It begins with the equipment you would use, then goes to the recipes for fondant, buttercream, etc. keeping in mind these are very short tutorials, with photos.Then the flower instruction begins, to bring you to a daisy-like flower, rose, a very simple dahlia, a poppy flower, a painted flower, and a peony of sorts. The next instruction is for the very, very basics of the front cover purse cake, with the final instruction on how to cover a cake board.Very nice if this was one of many chapters, but the 32 pages is it. Granted, for the price it's OK, but for a couple dollars more, she has other books you can purchase.Peace.

a very thin book
Lindy Smith is a great cake decorator but I wish there was more to this book than just a few pages (32 pages in all including the credits). The photos are superb in quality but there were only a few tutorials. I just wished there were more.

It's an ok book, not as detailed as I had thought it would be, but all in all it is an ok book

Excellent Value!
An excellent book covering a wide range of flower modelling! I particularly like the step-by-step instructions and photos. The handbag creation article is worth the price alone!

this was a xmas gift from a well meaning hubby and he hadnt rea;lised i already had this in a previous boguth book bless him, still it will come in handy

Not very informative.
Lots of pictures but scant instructions. Ok if all you need is ideas but you can get ideas for free on the internet.
