I bought 10 of the black and 10 of the red connectors. To me, the red ones were much better than the black connectors. I did not like the way the top snapped on. There is no way to secure the cable to the connector top to the cable. The top piece was two individual pieces. I will not use these connectors, way too difficult to deal with compared to the red connectors I bought from the same seller. The connector was really too big. I did not have the same issue with the red connectors. I was going to send the black ones back but, it was just not worth my time to deal with. I would not buy the black ones again. I would buy the red connectors again. The seller should show the way the black connector really push down on the pins or get rid of that type connector.

Mine work ok HOWEVER these are wider than most for this type of terminal and in certain applications this makes them problematic. I wanted to use them in an adapter for a decora style switch plate that had two rows of three right next to each other in order to fit in the rectangular space provided by the decora style switch plate. (like this one: http://www.amazon.com/CableWholesale-Decora-Insert-Keystone-302-6D-W/dp/B00749SCEQ ) I had to shave the sides off a blank fill-in piece to put in the space next to this thing to get it to work. Speed wise it works fine if you install the wires correctly, but if you need a tight space installation this may not be the jack for you.

These units have cheap, brittle plastic snap in tabs. Two broke while trying to snap them into the faceplate. But worse than that, they are so wide that you cannot seat them in adjacent ports. I do not recommend this product. In fact, I threw them in the trash and replaced with better from Home Depot.

The product it itself is excellent and works exactly as intended... the quantity that actually arrived was the only problem since I actually need all 10.

No good quality at all. Too soft plastic around punch down.doesn’t hold good. Great clip tho. Wouldn’t recommend. Also completely different layout from most all standard punchdowns. Would be confusing for anyone not familiar with how to do it. Or someone who doesn’t know the number sequence.

Half of these won't connect. I had to reclip them on the wire to get all leads to transmit data. Never again.
