DO NOT BUY
I've had two of these batteries now fail on me. The first one failed after a few uses with my Dyson V80, and had it exchanged for a second one. Now, the second one has failed and now the process of getting a refund will be more difficult due to the previous exchange. DO NOT BUY IT!

Dyson V8 Battery
This was the third battery I tried. The other two were sent back within a couple weeks with problems. I have had this one for almost two months and no issues. Ladies and gentlemen we have a winner. Color match is good, the style is the same, battery life is definitely longer and the charge lights are still working.

Worth the purchase if your sick of your original battery going out too quick.
I bought this to replace the stock battery for my dyson animal. Worked great. I did notice a longer battery life than the original. Worth the purchase if your sick of your battery going out on you too quick.

Disappointed
Battery died after two months of moderate use. Beware.

Not a good battery
Buyer beware! I bought this battery in July to replace the original. In September it stopped working and won't take a charge. Just replaced it with a different brand.

Fits V8, easy to install and it works.
Only been using it for a few weeks, but so far it works.

Seems to work so far, have only used a few times so don't know about the longevity.
