Not so great
I was intrigued by the price of this set and it is hard to find low tables for little children. I bought this for my 1.5 year old to sit at in the kitchen when she eats. My first impressions were good. I liked the sleek design and quality of the wood. However, these are not made with precision. The table is slightly different from what is pictured and is a little wobbly. One of the ends does not lay flat on the ground. I'm not sure if this is a defect or the wood warped. I put an extra pad under one of the legs to keep it from rocking. In addition, the hole on the back of the chair is off center which is something that really bugs me. And the angle of the back is less than 90 degrees. It bends forward slightly. Yet, my daughter doesn't seem to find it uncomfortable. And she loves having the independence during her meals. The height is also good for her to stand and play at. But I should mention that even though we like the height of the table, we have to use a different chair with it because the one it comes with is too tall. The table hits at her knees and she can't fit under it. The photo makes the table seem higher than it is in reality. Overall, I have decided to keep the set because I think it will provide a nice work surface for her when she is older while sitting on the floor.

Like it but....
It was a good purchase but it's not perfect. The chair seat and back are bent at less than a 90 degree angle so if my son were to sit back all the way it pushes him forward. The desk has the same problem on one side-- one of the legs is bent at 90 degrees but the other is less than 90 so that it angles in towards the center. Now it's not a huge deal and it doesn't make the desk wobbly at all it just looks a bit cockeyed. To give you an idea of size, my son has been using it since he was about 32". He's now 36" and still has room to grow. I'm glad we bought it. For the price I'm glad we have it.

This is much smaller than expected but okay if 12 mth -24mths
I have a 25 mth old boy who is kind of small for his age. This barely fits. His knees almost touch the table when seated and when he raises his legs the table is raised with his legs. However, this is easy to assemble, very light and also very small so takes up very little space. My boy is using this as his feeding table and he loves it very much.If you have a big child + a child over 3 years old, I don't recommend it.

Toddler loves it!
This is a great set-- sturdy, good quality, and the perfect size for my 18-month-old. She sits at it to eat her meals and to draw pictures. I will say, though, that the arms on the chair make it harder for her to sit down-- she has to center herself perfectly, rather than being able to sit sideways and then move around. The arms did help keep her in place when she was younger, though, so it's a toss-up as to whether they're a pro or a con.

Cute but way too small
I picked out this desk for my two year old. I thought it would be a nice non-plastic addition to our office area where everyone else has a desk. When It arrived, I was a bit amazed by how small the box was. Upon opening, I discovered the desk, as I figured, was in one piece and fit inside the box without additional assembly. I'm not sure who they make this desk for, the size is more suited to a baby or at most a 1 year old. Too bad, because it looks nice and well made, but it's going back, kind of useless. Make sure you look at the size specs, I wish I did!

Perfect size
This is the perfect size for my 18 month old granddaughter. She loves sitting in it either to eat, or draw. Her mother loves it because she can move it around the house, and her daughter can be occupied while she is working at home.

Time to eat
I use this desk as my daughter's eating station. It is perfect since I don't have a ton of space in my apartment. I like that she can grow into it later and sit on the floor without the chair and use just the desk part. It was super easy to put the chair together. I was a little worries about that part.

Perfect "first" table! Best for 12-30 month olds.
Perfect "first" table and chair set! It is best sized for 12-30 months. I have a big 2 year old and I can't see him using it too much longer. But it's been fantastic as a weaning table (if you follow montessori practices) and for reading books, doing puzzles etc. Nice quality wood.
