This fits Pertronix coils perfectly.

This bracket is a perfect fit for Pertronix Flame Thrower coils but may need to be shimmed a little if using with an OEM coil that has a slightly smaller diameter. I also appreciated that no tiny nut is rquired to tighten the bracket around the coil as the tightening screw fits into a pre tapped/threaded hole.

This is a decent replacement for the old, grimy original coil bracket. It was decent for the price. Had I paid more I would have been unhappy. NOTE: The metal is noticeably thinner than an original. The diameter when fully opened is also a bit smaller than the original. It works, just have to open it on the whole way and force it on a little. I used a bit of dish soap to try to avoid scratching the coil paint - still scratched a little. Also had to Dremmel one end of the mounts as both were holes and one should be a fork.

My 1973 Porsche 914 needed a new coil. This bracket is the right size and fit.
