Q: How to remove plate from iphone 8? It is stuck onto iphone 8 i bought for repair and idk how to take it off.

Well that is a good question and I had a hard time getting it off myself and i damaged the plate and had to buy another. You got to give the company credit once it sticks on it stays on! You can either buy another one OR take goo gone and dental floss to take it off. What you do is apply the goo gone in the area so you can get it on to the sticky part when the plate is holding and then you take the dental floss and slowly go underneath the plate with a saw motion (Back and forth) and apply more goo gone if needed to help loosen up the glue and it should come off with a bit of effort. The smell will dissipate and it should not harm the phone unless you drenched it. Good luck!

The shield plates go on the back of your phone . The mounting disc are the ones that go on the dash

The dimensions are 1.5" wide by 2" long and .02" thick. Constructed of high carbon steel for the strongest magnetic attraction. These are not magnets. They are coated steel plates with a black zinc coating then sprayed with plastic coat. This allows for a nice soft but rugged feeling coating. There is a extremely strong adhesive on back to attach to any mobile device. If you use wireless charging on your phone this plate will block it. You can mount the plate below the wireless charging location then use with your magnetic mount. Ideally engineered for Mob Armor Magnetic Mounts but can be used with other brand magnetic mounts. We recommend you have a flat smoother case with no openings or indentations so the adhesive gets full coverage. If you want to mount directly to a phone with no case we recommend not using it with phones that have anti-fingerprint coatings. Works with all phones larger than the plate itself.
