This is very nice! It is great quality leather, well made and versatile.

My older welding jacket is simply too hot to work in the Summer sun. The back on this is cut out, so your sweat has somewhere to dissipate. It makes it a bit more of a challenge putting it on, but it is worth it. If a breeze is coming from behind you, which is helpful when welding, it is quite comfortable. I think it is well constructed, and offers full-frontal protections (including neck). I wear a 3x in most coats and clothing. Sleeve length is often a problem. This didn't offer up any surprises. I'm happy with the purchase.

I saw other reviews saying the buttons didn't stay button as you moved your arms around. I assumed those guys were just wearing a jacket too small for them, or they must have at least been bigger guys. They're definitely bigger than me, given my scrawny size. Well, I can confidently say as a clinically underweight man, the buttons do not stay buttoned regardless of your size. It's the buttons holding the bottom apron to the sleeve portion, the outer buttons specifically. If you move your arms any significant amount, they will come undone. And if you start moving to larger extremities, the next sets will start to come undone as well. The buttons simply are not strong enough to stay together.Despite this, I'd still give it 4 stars. It's very protective, it's nice that it doesn't cover you're back so you don't overheat, it's adjustable for if you only need the sleeves, and it's cheap. All in all, I'd say it's a good deal. I've been using it and I plan to continue to use it. If you're okay with the fact that not all of the buttons are going to stay buttoned, then it's a good deal for you. If the button thing is a deal breaker, at least you know and can look for alternatives.

So my son is In welding school, his teacher told him to buy a $75 flame resistant shirt and it was not flame resistant and his arm burned a little. So I ordered this jacket/ apron and it is perfect and he’s not getting burned anymore. Slightly cheaper purchase and 100% better quality.

This seems to be good quality leather. Comes in sizes up to 4X. Comes in a couple of colors. Ordered product arrived in just a few days, and in good shape. Pleased with purchase.

Smells weird and turns you orange for a couple weeks. Almost completely worn out after 7 months. Snaps are first to go
