A good, sturdy cabinet.
For 65 pounds, this is a great cabinet. The instructions certainly could have been clearer, and one of the mounting brackets were slightly bent, though neither of these would be too big of an issue for anyone who has bought something in need of assembly from amazon before. Once you figure out which parts are which, assembly is easy. The lock creates a tight hold, and fitting the door panel in general is simple enough , thanks to the springloaded hinges which you can release from the inside of the panel. There are also two removable plates on the top and bottom to allow for cables. Would buy again.

Nice case. Easy to assemble
Nice case. Easy to assemble. Bolts firmly to the wall. Nice airflow with fan inlet and outlet bottom and top. The only thing that could lose this case a star (but it doesn't really bother me, so its keeping it's star! :) ) is the glass on the door has slightly pulled away from the metal part where it is glued on to. So the end of the door now sits a little lower than the hinged end, but like I said, this doesn't bother me and certainly doesn't prevent anything in the case fro doing it's job.

Perfectly adequate for light duty use.
First I need to point out that there are far more expensive cabinets on the market and the low cost of this particular cabinet needs to be considered when reviewing it! Also although I was using this in a home environment, hence not wanting to pay professional cabinet prices, I was installing equipment more commonly found in commercial I.T. installations including 2 managed POE switches which are reasonably heavy compared to simple unmanaged switches that would normally be used in a home or small business network. The pros: Cheap. Well packed and delivered quickly. Easy to assemble, especially if you have a power screwdriver. Comes with 10 rack cage nuts & screws - a nice bonus - most items of equipment need 4 screws each, but hey - 10 allows me to lose 2 and still mount 2 items. Panel edges are reasonably smooth - I spent quite some time leaning into this cabinet while it was on the wall to terminate cables and didn't get any cuts. The cons: A bit flimsy, I assume most of these will be wall mounted and the problem is that you are wary of applying too much torque to the screws in case you strip the holes but they need to be REALLY TIGHT in order for the panels not to move relative to each other and the cabinet not to sag when you load it with equipment. Othwrwise it goes out of square and the side doors cannot be easily removed or replaced due to the holes no longer being rectangular. The worst issue is the metal thickness of the rack mounting strips - if you install something such as a managed POE switch the rails really flex and the switch is nowhere near level. I doubt the strips will fail; the tilted switch just looks cosmetically poor. However 4 rails are supplied and since I was not mounting anything from the rear (the cabinet being wall-mounted) I used the spare rear strips to overlay the front ones to double-up on thickness, this solved the problem. Although the front door locks, the side panels do not - this is not unique to this cabinet and if I wanted a truly tamperproof cabinet I would need to pay a lot more money. Cable access: The partly pre-punched knock-outs in the top and bottom panels are quite a distance from the rear of the cabinet and if using wall mounted trunking for the cables the knock outs will not overlay the trunking; making neat cabling more difficult, it would have been better with the knockouts close to the rear. BUT! taking the price into account it still represents reasonable value. Steve.

Excellent Value and Build Quality
I purchased this rack to support a multi-room home network setup, and it exceeded expectations. The build is solid, with good ventilation and secure mounting points. Installation was straightforward, and the depth is perfect for housing a patch panel, switch, and cable management tray. It fits neatly in a utility space without dominating the room. Great value for the price.

Won't buy again 12u rack
Won't buy again, this product came part marked and not great quality. The build is easy, made 100s of these but the unit is trash, not ideal for the client I bought it for, marks visable on all sides, frame bent and what looks like melted blobs of black plastic on the glass door.

Pecfect - if you want to waste time and money ..........
This product is so bad that I have actually binned it within 10 minutes of assembling it. Sending back too much hassle because of how it has been packed - in lots of cling film. I have assembled a lot of cabinets in my time, but this is easily the worst I have used. The lack of precision, screws with flaking paint, scratches to the surface, thinness of material, etc Save your time and money - but something else. Even a cardboard box is better as it won't have the sharp edges.

Don’t bother
Bought this rack to go in my loft. Assembly ok but as others have said instructions are useless. Once assembled it looks ok. Mounted in my UniFi network switch and the mounting rails are bending. They are made from barely 1mm metal and are just not up to the job. My switch is at a terrible angle and I have to make some kind of rear support. I am only mounting in 1 device so I can do something with it but tbh I should have just bought a better made rack. It’s going in loft otherwise I would have returned it. I might change the mounting rails for standard 2mm thick ones at a later stage. It’s all fixable but will end up costing more than if I just bought a decent one to start with

Surprisingly impressed with the 6U 19”
Good for the money. I ordered and then read the reviews, I didn’t hold out much hope but it’s pretty good. Fair enough it doesn’t have instructions and you have to build it yourself but as someone else said if you can build a home or office network then you can figure this out. Mine arrived and it was spotless, no marks on glass, no scratches to the body etc and plenty of screws. This is much cheaper than high end cabinets and it would show if they were side by side but this is perfect for the home or office, seems well designed and so on. I would by this again.

Some dents and mismatched rails in box.
Some parts were damaged when I opened the box, but were easily straightened out. The vertical rails for the rack mount did not line up with the pre-drilled holes, so I had to make a new hole at the top of each rail to fix the rail in place. It was fine when assembled, but these discrepancies were annoying.

security and ease of installation
This was an easy build and installation. I have to purchase a couple of more this year, and I would re-purchase this item. It is sturdy for the lightweight build.

It's great to me!
I decided to get this 9U rack cabinet with some cautious optimism, because of some of the previous reviewers. The bottom line is simply, I’m glad I decided to grab it. One of the reasons I’m glad I grabbed this cabinet is the ease of assembly. You simply start by attaching the two front corners and the two rear corners (pay attention to illustration) to the base with two of the small screws per piece. After this, the top goes on the same exact way, with two small screws per corner bracket. Next is attaching the four pieces to which your equipment will mount, a.k.a, the racks, to the top and bottom of the cabinet with just two screws per piece. There are three different holes to mount the racks in which you can choose depending on the depth into the cabinet you need. After this, the back wall goes on via 6 screws, then the front glass door goes in via two rods on springs, which requires a simple pull/push from the angled pin on the backside of the door/inside of the door, depending on perspective. *Note, I didn’t understand what it meant by putting an “isolation column at the right bottom”, which I assume was referring to the white plastic/nylon spacer. There doesn’t appear to be a problem without whatever it means. Also, there are four screw holes that weren’t mentioned in the instructions that are located in each corner of the front. If the cabinet is out of square, the door won’t shut correctly, but getting the cabinet square and then adding a screw will set its position. Then just add the other screws to keep it locked in position. It’s actually quite sturdy once everything is put together. I’m not sure why other reviewers had negative experiences, as so far, everything is great. All I can say is I recommend it, and haven’t found any negatives worth noting. I’m happy as can be with it.
