CkitzeUniversal Grounded European Travel Plug Adapter

Affordable and does the job flawlessly
Very affordable, grounded ~220v to 110v adapter for using USA style plugs with a lot of countries overseas outlets (check the specific country you're going to to ensure it uses this style. The ground connector (often missing on cheap adapters) gets rid of the weird electrical vibration feeling you get if you run your finger over the metal on a laptop or TV (or other elctronic device) and the adapter isn't grounded. Be advised, (just in case you didn't notice), this does not change the voltage, so the device you plug into the adapter will have to be able to accept the outlet voltage of the country you're in (usually ~220v). The power supply of the electronic device you're going to plug in will generally have a "input" section on the label of it. It will look something like "100-240V" meaning 100 volts all the way up to 240 volts are acceptable for the device. Make sure the device is rated to accept the voltage of the outlet. If the label says "input 100-120V" and you plug it in in France or Korea which are 220 & 230 volts, you will destroy your power supply and possibly device, and run the risk of starting a fire or injuring yourself.

adapter only; doesn't fit well in sockets
This technically works, but doesn't actually hold well in the socket. It was very rare in my recent trip that I had a socket that I could aim the prongs down into. Most European sockets are on the wall and you aim the prongs sideways. This adapter doesn't hold steady. You have to actually sit there and hold it into the wall to keep getting a charge. So apart from one private home I stayed in where they had a surge strip I could plug into with prongs aimed down, I was mostly unable to use this adapter at all. Thank goodness I had also bought another one of a different kind or I would have had to sit there holding the adapter just to charge my phone.

This adapter does NOT work in Italy
The product description says this plug works in Europe, but that’s misleading. This does NOT work in Italy. Last I checked Italy is still part of Europe. It looks the same as a universal adapter which can be used in Italy, but the prongs are too wide. Suggestion-contact seller before purchasing this product to make sure it will work in the countries you will be traveling.

Actually awesome
I was a little nervous, but it works perfectly and I've had no issues with it while living in Korea! This adapter stays firmly connected in the plug outlet, and my plug fits into it with no problem. I have also not had any issues with my plug coming loose or falling out while plugged in. This is all the adapter you need, plain and simple!

study, well made. solid connection.
Exactly what I needed, but the one I received was off-white instead of black. If you've tried many of these sorts of things, you know that some are very flimsy and don't make a good connection (which can be kind of scary and send sparks flying, etc.). This one seems to be pretty sturdy and well made. I used it in Spain and France and it worked perfectly.

Best option
I've used these, and identical versions, for years for trips to Korea. They are great and much better than any alternative I've found. The only problem is that every single power strip in Korea is identical in design, and these don't quite fit next to eachother in the strips. This means you can only use every other outlet.

Was a fire hazard
Took this to Barcelona & Palma Mallorca Spain, and a cruise ship with european sockets. This smoked and sparked everytime it was plugged in. 2 sockets blew it back out and smoked, sparked. Destroyed my iPhone charger. Fire hazard.

Did what it was supposed to.
I was traveling to Europe and needed a power plug. There's not much to say about it, it did what it was supposed to. It was durable and lasted through the entire trip.If I ever go I will be buying it again since I left this one plug at one of the hotels that we stayed in.
