Mashallah! Bought this as an eid gift for my parents, for eid al fitr 2020 and they loved it! The packaging was posh and the Baklava was certainly gourmet. We live in the UK but are originally Palestinian. Baklava has its origins between the Turks and the people of the levant so we can tell a good baklava when we see one and this was certainly good.It is a bit on the pricey side (even for good quality baklava). No doubt, the metallic box packaging and shipping from Turkey add to the cost; however the Baklava itself is, as described by the seller, made to gourmet standards. It is worth to spend the money for special occasions or gifts, as it will stand out from the regular stuff both in terms of quality and presentation.Though this is clearly better than the cheapest stuff, it is possible to get similar quality baklava from local UK shops with with regular packaging for a bit cheaper (depending on where you live). If I was just buying for myself or as normal, I would probably just buy something of similar quality, and save this luxury presentation product for extra special treats, occasions or gifts.If you are getting this as a gift etc then I give it 5/5 stars, as the extra posh presentation etc becomes worth it. If just for normal consumption 4/5 stars for slightly pricey cost. Brilliant Baklava overall, well done.

I bought this as a present for my better half who loves baklava.The tin arrived quickly, securely packaged and looked great.The baklava inside was wrapped in plastic to ensure it was airtight.The baklava is much drier than others we've had as it's not soaked so much in sugar syrup.I think this is a good thing. This also makes it less sickly sweet, again a good thing.Rather than just sugar, you can taste the nuts and the pastry, which is wonderfully crisp and delicate.I've knocked a star off purely for the price, I bought it while it was on offer at Christmas and the value was fair, I don't think it's worth it's usual price of £38.I hope you find my review helpful.

I ordered these because I thought the price looked reasonable for 52 pieces of baklava, based on previous purchases from other suppliers.I was unwary.52 pieces arrived in a box about 6 inches square. Each piece is no bigger than a postage stamp. They are very pretty and tasty, but you are not getting full sized pieces of baklava. Beware!

Came quickly, presented in a beautiful tin. Sweets were drier than shop bought, but that actually made the flavour better. Not sickly like some. Will definitely buy again.

As good as I have tasted in Cyprus and Turkey supplied in a nice tin and the contents were very fresh and a nice size for snacking
