Very nice measuring system for reloaders
So far I am enjoying this product. It seems to match up accuracy wise with my other scales, including an old school analog scale. I have seen no more than a 0.1 grain delta between scales. The setup was much easier than I anticipated. First step - plug it in and let it warm up for 15 to 30 minutes. I let mine warm up for about 20-25 minutes. Then while it is warming up - level it off as close as you can get it! Check level each time you use the scale as when you move it around to empty it, etc., the little feet tend to turn. I wish these were a firmer turn so they could stay in place, but it only takes 10 seconds to re-level - so no big deal.Using the power calibration feature is a MUST! It tunes the machine to your powder type. It makes dispensing powder nearly, if not faster, than a powder drop with a manual trickler. This thing is pretty darn accurate when getting down to those last few tenths of a grain.I have not used the app yet, but just using it manually is very fast for a power trickler. I once had a Hornady trickler, but returned it because it would often overtip the scale by 0.1-0.3 grains. It was also not very fast or efficient. This thing is very efficient. Now for the negatives... 1. The lid on the powder hopper is a little snug to get on and off. I wish they would have moulded a bayonet mount or something easier into the lid. 2. The adjustment feet are too loose and don't maintain level when you move the measurer around on your workbench to empty it. 3. The emptying plug is a little bit awkward and cheap. You do spill some powder opening this up to empty the hopper. It is a tough 2 handed operation. 4. I wish it has a metal measuring plate. This one is plastic - which works; but metal seems to indicate higher quality. At the end of the day, I recommend this for reloaders looking for faster, yet reasonably accurate tools for your hand loads. I won't likely use this for pistol loads, but definitely for rifle loads. I don't think it is quite a 'match' quality item, but it does seem to come close when measuring with a variety of scales I own. It is a nice kit and seems to do everything a reloader would want it to do - very quickly.

Great while it lasted WARRANTY TIME
The powder measure worked great on the first 150 rounds of ammo with both extruded and ball powder. I really liked the powder calibrate capability and had far less over throws than with another brand.BUT, I’ve owned the powder measure just 4 months and it just crapped out. The scale works fine, but the motor will not turn the powder dispenser as intended. When it does turn, it will not trickle and will not throw a 42gr charge. Or any other size charge.I wanted it to be good, but the quality control is obviously lacking. I just hope Frankford Arsenal will honor their warranty…

A fair and honest first use review
The unit arrived today in good condition. Upon opening the box I observed everything in it's place and appeared undamaged. Everything was wrapped in bubble wrap and/or plastic bags. After inventory (all parts accounted for) I read the directions, put everything together ( which took about 2 mins ), leveled the unit per the instructions, plugged it in, and walked away for 30 mins. All the reviews I read and videos I watched prior to this purchase all said the same thing, LET IT WARM UP before going further or else you risk inaccurate readings. With the instructions in front of me, I downloaded the phone app (no problem connecting bluetooth) started the app, and entered a "new load". Here you will enter details such as powder choice, bullet weight, etc and most importantly the LOAD (gr). I will not go further in to the app because it's pretty straight forward. Now I started the calibration process. Here I came across an error either in the machine programing or the printed instructions. It was written that after you press the CAL key, you would see 50.00 flashing on the display indicating you are suppose to place the 50g weight on the pan. After waiting for it to stabilize, you again press the CAL key and wait for 100.00 to flash before adding a second 50g (100g total). I never got flashing of any kind, so when the 50.00 and 100.00 stabilized, I "assumed" they were suppose to be flashing on moved on in the process. In the end, it calibrated with no issue. Next add the power of your choice and go through the powder calibration. I ran through this process twice just to make sure. This powder calibration basically is a chance for the machine to "learn" the powder you are using and what it it takes to move a certain amount of powder to the pan. OK, now it's time to put it to the test. I choose to set things up for .223 reloads with my powder of choice being Winchester 748 at 26 grains. I set the machine to "auto" ( I discovered this meant that after you remove the filled pan and put the empty pan back on to the scale, it would automatically start filling the next load ). Ready-Set-Go. First drop into the pan, the machine will display "stable" and the process is done. I took the contents of the pan and dumped it onto my trust digital scale - Perfect. Let's try it again. Another pan full goes onto the digital scale - Perfect. I ran through this process for 100 rounds measuring every pan on my digital scale. Results: 98 of the 100 were perfect 26.0 and only two were 0.01 over. Pretty dang good in my eyes. I noticed that since the machine had earlier "learned" my powder, on each measurement it would drop powder until it got to either 25.6 or 25.7 before it paused and then "trickled" the last couple of grains. It did this on every single measurement. Is this thing fast ? Not particularly. I set up my trusty digital scale, got my grain spoon and manual trickler, and raced the machine. It beat me every time by a couple of seconds, but when you load a lot in one sitting, it's nice to sit back and watch rather than the constant "just a little bit more" to get the perfect amount. A suggestion is to wipe the inside of the powder chamber with a dryer sheet to reduce the amount of powder cling on the plastic container. One thing to be careful of is placing & removing the powder pan on the scale. The tube that releases the powder is dead center and just above the pan. You can easily bump the tube and release enough powder grains to effect the total weight, but you will quickly figure out what works for you here. Overall I am happy with it's performance and would recommend it to those looking for some automation in their lives.

Excellent choice
Best scale i've owned and wished i'd purchased sooner. Very accurate and easy to use. Not too expensive for the quality you receive. Dont bother buying the cheaper ones, they arent accurate and not reliable, especially when you are working with gunpowder.
