AlpineKTX-C10LP License Plate Mounting Kit

Bought this along with the Alpine HCE-C1100 backup camera, seems like a nice set up I don't think you can go wrong with it. My only complaint is they didn't leave much room to route the wiring, I wound up just cutting a hole in the plastic part of my bumper directly behind the camera and routed through there, had to cut a small notch out of my license plate to route the wires also but oh well, no one can see it with the bracket mounted over it anyhow!Roll over image to zoom in

Fit well, easy to install and works very well with my existing F-250 factory color screen.No excuses, it is crystal clear and we’ll built.

BE ADVISED THIS IS JUST THE HOLDER!!!!!!! The way the review read, I thought this was the entire unit, INCLUDING THE CAMERA. It is not. It is just the holder for the Alpine camera. I should have known by the price, but I was playing the odds. The picture of the holder shows it with the camera in it. How are we to know it doesn't come with the camera? I wasn't sure whether to give it 1 star because of the deceptiveness of the review or 5 stars for the quality. It is very nice for what it is, a nice sturdy metal frame with all the mounting hardware and nice license plate lights built in.I know Amazon is a HUGE site and they have alot of items to write product reviews on, but they need to do a little better job. I guess I have to buy the expensive Alpine camera to put in it. I imagine I'll be happy in the long run, but am spending WAY more then I had hoped to.

I had purchased an Alpine INA-W900 and wanted a backup camera to go with it. I found this bracket and figured it would be the best way to hook it up. Install was pretty simple..just figuring out how to route it was the hardest part. It's installed on an 05 Subaru STI and was a little tricky running the wires. But it's a good product and haven't had any problems so far.

I bought this and an Alpine HCE-C104, while the camera had a multitude of issues, this frame and mounting kit worked perfectly. The quality of the machining/molding were spot on and it is nice and slim. I actually am still using the frame, just not the camera :)

As you heard from others this is a quality piece that is sturdy and comes with more supplies than needed, extra screws and such. It is easy to install even if you need to connect its built in license plate light in the event it covers the existing one on your car which it did with my Infiniti G35. HOWEVER, it may cover the top part of your license plate to an extent that it covers the top part of the state name on the plate. This may upset some rolling patrols which I surmise will make it their judgment call whether or not to cite you. I will find out soon as I just installed it today or I may simply ask some approachable officer of the law. If needed drilling holes further up on the plate should remedy that problem though maybe not the easiest of tasks. And, no, it does not include the camera itself.

This frame is of good strong & solid materials. I relocated my rear plate on my '14 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to the center of the tire and wanted a camera yet needed a plate light as well, this frame mounted my camera & provided the plate light.
