Replacement for Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 Laptop Keyboard US Layout Without Backlight

I can't believe how easy it was to change my keyboard.

I recently purchased the N5110 laptop and spilled e-cigarette liquid juice on the keyboard. The shipper sent the product immediately and installation was a simple 7 step process. I'd purchase again in a heartbeat if I needed another keyboard. I'm currently using it now. No erroneous repeat keys, missed keystrokes or other hiccups.Installation tips:To remove your keyboard - At the top of the keyboard and under the silver bezel are 4 clips horizontally placed. It helps to hold it in place. With a small flathead screwdriver push the clips up gently (all 4). Gently lift from the top. Be careful not to pull on the ribbon or the socket beneath the keyboard. The ribbon can be removed by lifting the black hatch laying on top of the socket. Remove ribbon.To install keyboard - Place new keyboard's ribbon firmly in socket and close latch. Re-position the ribbon to not tangle or bundle much once the keyboard is down. Insert from bottom to top. Ensure the 4 clips hold down the keyboard. If it's nice and even you should be done.Test. Ordered this item twice through Amazon customer service and both times it did not come with the silicone keyboard cover or the glass cloth that are included in the description of the package. This was super frustrating. Ended up just keeping the keyboard out of convenience and buying a cover separately.

My daughter's Dell Inspiron N5110 keyboard started acting flakey - several of the keys only worked about 90% of the time which makes it hard to write a term paper. Tried taking the keyboard out and bending it and squishing it but that only made things worse. Ordered this keyboard and now laptop is up and running with keyboard working perfectly. Can't speak to longevity since I just fixed it today.Keyboard removal is super-easy....once you figure it out! There are a couple Youtube videos showing how to remove the keyboard, but basically with a small flathead screwdriver pry the keyboard out of the housing at the top at the 4 tabs on the top of the keyboard, slide the keyboard toward the screen, then lift up on the little bar holding the cable ribbon.

It looks like the original and of quality. But for me didn't work at all. I got a full refund.

An inexpensive and very easy to instal keyboard! Saved a fortune by doing it myself.

Fit my old N5110 perfect. It's very strange having a new-feeling keyboard, the very subtle differences are very noticable! I kinda miss my worn out old keys, I wish they still worked lol. That said, I'm glad I don't have to retire an old laptop that is still serving me perfectly fine just because the keyboard only kinda worked!
