BOGSCA, Standard Camera Adapter

I really love all the BOGgear products. The most recent addition for me is this new camera mount. This product is not only a quality piece, but is useful beyond being a camera mount. I now use this on my BOGgear Tripod for my spotting scope and my night vision scope, as well as my cameras. This unit is well made, super sturdy and very securely holds my expensive scopes & cameras. The entire BOGgear line is proving to be "Must Have" equipment for all my shooting needs. The versatility of this "Quick Change" system is very well thought out and super easy & quick to use. I highly recommend this product as well as all BOGgear stuff. I believe the pricing is on the high side, however, you really do get what you pay for. Not completely sure of it yet…..the ball has a little give and it’s hard to get a firm lock. Still working with it. Definitely a quality piece

I had posted a question about removing the quick disconnect post to make this work with my set up using an older model of same ball mount. Of course people have opinions and want to lean in; appreciated but all providing misguided thoughts. The post can be removed. It’s screwed in with red thread lock so to remove it, the post needed to be heated to 500 degrees and it came out with ease. If we all stop when someone says it’s not possible no one would ever “hold my beer” and watch me. Do whatever you want and don’t take the first 3 or 4 reasons for others to say why it’s not possible because they get stuck or can’t find a way forward. Great product, used them for years and never stop finding ways forward!

It may be a good idea for Bog Pod to come up with the entire quick release system so it can be mounted on other products like window mounts.... This product worked great.... but the quick release plate only works on their window mount (which didn't hold my spotting scope solid). So I had to return this and create my own system... Like their products,,, just wish I could have done a one-stop shop with Bog-Pod...

The media could not be loaded.  Got this item on the 22nd of August and left for my bow hunt on September 26th, the handle threads to lock and unlock the ball joint were stripped out and wouldn't unlock after the first use. The sad thing about this is Amazon no longer offers the ability to ask for a refund or replacement. So I'm stuck with this garbage now.

I had bought a BOG tripod and the is was the perfect adapter for my binos.

I love BOG products; they are extremely high quality, very affordable and packed with features.I am an outdoorsman and enjoy photography and firearms and BOG works for both. I can simply swap the heads on my tripod and it all fits conveniently in my pack.

This is a Fantastic device; I'm using this device with my Bog-Pod Tac -3 68" tripod and Bog-Pod BBR Binocular Rest. The device is holding my Leica HD 15x56 Range Finder Binoculars with no issues with easy smooth movement, but most importantly steady. I highly recommend this device to the Serious Hunters. Try this device you definately won't regret your purchase.

Was a lot heavier than I expected but it is built solidly. I like it so far.

Cameras work best when steady, this does the job from any angle or position. Works great for my spotting scope too !
