MOOG K6722 Steering Idler Arm Bracket for Chevrolet K1500

Bought this along with a few other components to rebuild the front end on my Tahoe and the part worked out great. It is a perfect fit and appears to be a quality replacement option. I have used Moog components for years and never had a single problem...

It's Moog what else needs to be said. I've used Moog products on all my cars and trucks, and have never been disappointed.

I always buy Moog front end replacement parts when available. Make sure to order the idler arm itself and well as the bracket, as both parts are needed if you want to replace the entire assembly. I ordered both and had no problems, install was easy. In my opinion these are as close to factory quality as you can get.

As my other reviews state, I first began using Moog suspension parts over forty years ago. They manufacture their parts to basically “pick up where the OEM fell short.” For four decades, Moog has been my go-to source for anything suspension or steering related.This idler arm bracket has a unique design. The OEM and other aftermarket place the grease fitting in the middle of the bracket. While it allows for lubrication, any contamination in the top end will stay there. This MOOG bracket places the grease fitting at the top, thereby creating a way for fresh grease to travel through the entire bracket and flush out ant dirt or contaminants. To facilitate access to the zerk fitting, an extension hose is included which is bolted to the frame where the sway bar attaches. This makes servicing a breeze. Chalk another one up for MOOG!Note: The plastic wire loom on the hose was something I added to protect it from any abrasion

It is the correct heavy duty Moog part, but mine did not have the grease fitting extension hose with it. Hence the 4 star rating.

What can I say, it's Moog but at half the price than Oreily's. Fits perfect and a better quality than the original. This Idler Arm comes with the extension hose which makes it great for greasing the unreachable grease insert.

Perfect fit for my 98 Silverado k1500.Better then stock replacement and other cheaper versions. Do it right the 1st time with moog. I had brand new mevotech lasted 3 yrs with less then 25,000 km.

Nice mount. Works well. I didn't end up using the remote grease. It routes it to the open wheel well. Where I am in northern Ontario, it would just get covered in sand and salt and corrode in the winter. I just kept it as original.Worked well other than that. It’s a moog.
